Nice options on the menu, a really good variety, and very fresh! Everything was fantastic, nice presentation, good and fast service, cute atmosphere. We ordered the Chicken Fajita Omelette, The New Yorker, Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, and a Classic Benedict. This place is a hidden gem, wasn't overly busy like every other place we've tried up here...not sure why, it was delicious 😋”

“Dined there July 28th with a group of 11, all locals. I ordered the crab roll (Market Price - $31) and tried to order something off the children's menu ($12) for my wife who can't eat large meals. I was told (by Christian) you can only order off children's menu if 12 or younger. My wife has been ordering off children's menu for decades and has never before been refused. When I picked up our food I tried to explain why my wife needed a child's portion. Instead of saying had he known he would have accommodated us and to make sure to tell him next time, Christian replied "I'm not a mind reader". Needless to say my wife and I will not be dining there again.”

“Went here for dinner on an early Tuesday night. I ordered the Chicken Parm special with Ziti and it’s $2 off. Also a side salad and slice of pizza from the case. Staff was very friendly and everything came out quick. The salad was fresh and pizza was good. The breaded chicken was very good as well. Unfortunately the ziti was not good, I actually wouldn’t eat it. As soon as I saw how watery the sauce was I knew it was suspicious. I would say the sauce is a generic / bulk mix and it tasted like it would belong on a fundraiser / budget spaghetti supper, certainly not homemade Italian quality. The Ziti also did not seem cooked all of the way through and was chewy. The pasta combo had smell to it like a hint of cleaner, almost like it was from the chlorine in the village water. Anyways, the prices I think were very fair. I’m certainly not going to bomb their rating because the pasta was bad. I will return and would not hesitate to order anything else off of their menu as long as it was not In that spaghetti sauce.”

“Alexandria Bay is a small village sitting on the south bank of St Lawrence River right by the New York and Canadian border. This river has 1864 islands, hence the name 1000 Islands and name of this delightful eatery. We were here on a quiet Sunday evening where our wonderful waitress catered to our needs in perfection. We began with a couple of cocktails and the hit was this hot cider cocktail including cinnamon and nutmeg along with fresh apple and orange slices suspended in hot cider mixed with vodka in our case ( original was made with apple whiskey). We continued with some absolutely fresh New England clam chowder, the kind where vegetables still have a lot of crunch and clams are soft and chewy; surely one of the best and not too heavy at all. We continued with a steak salad (not pictured) with crisp romaine, superb blue cheese and well seasoned steak strips. Trying the maple balsamic dressing was simply an unexpected flavor bonus. Finally we had the butter pecan cake which tasted fresh and very much homemade. We are passing through these parts to see the fall colors, but would come back in a heart beat. Highly recommended to all travelers and others alike. THANK YOU!”

“OMG... this place is amazing. How does someone express emotions about a place in just words? This is a place you need to go out of your way to check out. The owner showed us the entire place and shared the story behind it. You feel like you go from a Cafe to an upper deck... the deck has a modern fireplace... every you look there is something special... want to join a fiend for checkers, chess or just to chat?
