This place has a really great charcuterie board, but more than that, their gnocchi is to die for. It is some of the best I've ever had and it makes me come back time and time again. If you're looking for a quality, quaint, Italian restaurant this is the one you should go to.

Solid Italian fare from "the Franks." A great place for anti-pasta and a glass of wine, whether outdoors on the patio or the Tuscan-restaurant inspired decor (with touches of New York inspiration).

The wine list is carefully put together and perfect for the neighborhood - not overwhelmingly complicated, but with an array of diverse options from across the globe at all price points.

The main courses are predominantly solid classic pasta options. The bar churns out decent cocktails. If you're looking for quality, everyday Italian fare, this place is tough to beat. A fixture of the West Village.

Why does this place only have four stars???? It deserves to have 5! The kale salad was fabulous and so was the bean soup! My martini was perfectly balanced and this place is totally reasonably priced. ( from the Bay Area so that should be said). Crab linguini was a little big but flavorful. Definitely would come back to this place!
