Cash only, can’t start a tab. Nice bartender, decent atmosphere, good draft drinks. Nice HH. Not my scene but nothing wrong with this place!
A landmark of the Village. An amazing bar, reasonable prices, fun atmosphere. A historic treasure in NYC.
Great place to chill out and grab a drink. Went there on a very quiet Monday evening, service was prompt and profession. My table got beers, curly fries, and jalapeno poppers. Standard bar food, nothing fancy. They served on paper plates, so we got a proper dive-y feel. Definitely a good place to go for conversation with friends!
Bob the bartender is awesome. I will visit him again from Hawaii. Wow 5600 miles to go say HI to Bob it must be good.
Decent food, but a stop through this place is more for the history. It’s the second-longest-running bar in the city and character seeps through the walls. The restaurant is long and at first site, you may overlook the quieter adjoining rooms, so make sure you explore the space.
