Decent sushi and incredible value in a cozy space
Perfect peaceful place. Delicious cuisine. Kind and cheerful owner and staff. 5 stars.
Had a quick bite here on the way to catch my train. Service was quick and food was good for the price. It's really small inside. Definitely not the best sushi but you get what you pay for.
Excellent neighborhood sushi place in the West Village. Fresh fish and great value. The decor is very low key, and the staff is friendly. There are always seats available.
Literally, the best sushi bar I’ve been too in NYC. California has the best sushi no doubt. This place rivals Cali in their ability to communicate with the people who elected to sit at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs actually make eye contact and even engage in conversation with you when you to sit there. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking for conversation, when I choose to sit at the sushi bar, I’m looking for a chef that knows why I actually want to sit there. If you’re from the West Coast and you like to be able to order a hand roll and then have the sushi chef hand it right over to you 3 seconds after he completed rolling the exact spicy tuna roll with avocado that you just asked him to roll...or any other roll that you can come up with. You just hit the jackpot. If you are someone that just wants to sit at a table and order sushi from a waitress it’s great experience as well.
