It’s the same story every time at a Cipriani restaurant. You can always count on the place being simply elegant. You can always count on the food being consistently good. FINALLY you can also ALWAYS count on the service being disorganized, slow and disappointing.
Hubby and I tried Bellini for Christmas. We were so hoping things would be different at this new spot. It wasn’t. Got a song and dance story by some of the staff that since it was Christmas waiters and help called in sick etc. that might have been true. It’s always the same though at other times we’ve gone to the one on Wall Street. Leaves a dissatisfied taste in your mouth.
Shout out however to Paolo. He works hard to hold it all together. A gem.
Amazing. We happened upon this place after getting scammed with a shady boat tour, and it was exactly the amazing place we needed after that.
So here’s my review:
Cute decorations, really cozy space.
Left nothing to be desired. Waiters were amazing.
I’m docking off a star because there wasn’t any towels in 2 of the bathrooms. There were a ton of towels in the one bathroom though (?). But the bathrooms were nice and clean.
The veggies and cheese were amazing, as was the bread and the main course. We got the lasagna, the gnocchi, cacio de Pepe (sorry for spelling), tuna carpaccio, and salad. It was all astoundingly good. For dessert, we got lemon pie, tiramisu, profiterls and creme brûlée. The lemon pie was amazing, the tiramasu was great, the profiterls were soooo good, and the creme brûlée was splendid.
Overall, an amazing restaurant. Definitely go.
We also got amazing coffee and cocktails.
Great atmosphere for a business meeting or special event. The service was Superb and Impeccable with our server Fabio.
Fabio provided amazing and detailed service never seen before.
He also recommend a bottle of Super Tuscan wine such as Tignanello and he also decanted the wine for us. Great waiter.
Service was smooth allowing just enough time for everyone at our table to take care in choosing their options.
Our guest was very impressed by the lengthy wine list.
The food itself was presented wonderfully and in perfect intervals.
Great Branzino and wonderful homemade Tagliolini with black truffles
If you are looking to spend some time and truly enjoy your meal, I recommend Bellini.
Congratulations for the incredible experience that I had with my girlfriend in the venue tonight.
Not in special about the food, but also for the AMAZING service offered for the waiter Mr. Fabio. I'd been in other NY restaurants, such as Blue Hill and Nobu, but I never had feel the same "friendly and professional" treatment. Definitely, he has an unique and special service.
PS.: The bar woman was so kind as well.
All the best.
Lovely food and great service by our waiter Fabio made all the difference. Very thoughtful and warm. Our bar woman was also exceptional. We loved it and will be back for sure!
