Make sure you get the mushrooms and the orange duck. The cocktails were delicious and the service was on point. I’ll be back.
Thank you Pierre Lapin for bringing Paris to the West Village! We are hooked! The ambiance is beautiful, relaxed, enjoyable. The music is lovely. The flowers as you in walk make us smile. Notable are the cassoulet, the frog legs, the champignons in cognac and the duck. The passion fruit meringue pie and chocolate mousse punctuate the meal. I often say that you can judge an excellent restaurant by their salad, and theirs is a stand out. They are generous with the amuse bouche. They bake their own baguettes. We have been there several times and even had Thanksgiving there. Each meal has been memorable. We always leave happy! Chef Harold and his Partner Julia are hands on, talented professionals. Their attention to detail is evident. They, along with their lovely staff, are warm, welcoming and hospitable.
Tucked away neighborhood gem
Slightly off the beaten path; on a picturesque corner of the west village. The decor is beautifully cozy; the food is deliciously classic french; the service is warmly friendly. The bread is house made and SO good - chewy on the inside with a perfect crust. I have been for brunch, which is very lovely; I often visit the bar to have a drink and dinner which I very much enjoy. Every detail is so well thought out - the fabric on the booths, the wallpaper on the wall, the food, the drinks...Just go!
Celebrated NYE dinner with my dear friend last night for my first time at Bistro Pierre Lapin. The most wonderful French food in NYC! If I had to pick my last meal on this earth, it be Bistro Pierre Lapin. I felt like every morsel I tasted was in a dream but, it was all REAL!
Our Parisian waitress, The hostesses are lovely and so gracious, The bartender impeccable mixologist! Our waitress, Sofia treated us with the highest level of service showing enthusiasm, kindness, charm and shared her love for the authenticity of each dish we picked. The best!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
