After reading all the good reviews online we were pretty sure this was a great choice for a vegan brunch. Actually only a limited selection of the menu is vegan. The sweet items were not very tasty and the salty ones were all latino style, with loads of potatoes and spices and eggs. I guess that if you like latino food in the morning it can be good! Also the place was extremely crowded, you could barely get up from your seat. I don't necessarily recommend it

I want to disclose that I am not a vegetarian and am usually very skeptical about vegetarian food, in general. I was totally shocked at how good the food was here. Me and my boyfriend split a cauliflower pizza and a pesto "pasta". I thought we'd still be hungry afterwards but the food was surprisingly filling. There was a small mix up with our food and despite it being a SMALL issue they insisted on comping our meal, one glass of wine as well as gave us free ginger "shots" before we left. The staff was really nice and the manager (I believe his name was Johnny) was a great great host! I'll def be back there. The best cauliflower pizza crust I've had to date. Enjoy!

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten friendly spot with good service. I'm not vegetarian but it's good. I came here on a brunch date with my wife. She got the waffle (gluten free) and I got huevos locos (eggs and crazy rice). These were both pretty good. Coffee was okay, too. Great LA ambiance. Healthy ????????

Friendly staff and great food. The best location of the two in the city. Good light, great location and ambiance. I wish I wasn't such a marked difference between the food coming out of the kitchen in this location and their other one off Grand Street but there is. A vegetarian's delight. In terms of the food in the menu options this may be the bar for vegetarian options in New York. Highly recommended.

I went to this place yesterday evening, as I had previously been in the L.A location and loved it. The vibe here however was not the same and I wouldn't rate it as highly. It's a serene, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, however they had energetic Spanish music playing in the background. The cocktail was horribly strong, and I had to chug water after every sip; this is fine if your goal is to get drunk, but not to enjoy a tasty cocktail.
The food was delicious and the staff were nice. It just felt that the atmosphere portrayed didn't match what was going on.
