Great omakase for the price! Staff are great and friendly. The quality of the uni was not great in my opinion but overall the sushi was fine
Thoroughly meh. Lacked precision in both food and service and I couldn’t tell you one dish that stood out. Much better omakase at similar or cheaper price points.
New favorite sushi spot! High quality fish and great interior design. No liquor license yet so grab a bottle of sake at the store down the street before you go.
Prefix menu. There's a standard and another upper tier that included 2,3 dishes. But since each singular sushi is counted as 'a course', you don't need to feel overwhelmed if there is 12 or 15 of them.
Moko, at the time when I visited, had yet secured a liquor license, so keep that in mind that there will be no alcohol served. (Could there be a friendly pour of sake from the server? Maybe ;) )
Overall, I think the service was on point. There is definitely 'a vibe'. The food is fresh but need more variety and creativity in designing the courses.
The thing that kinda bugs me, is actually the tea. That tea can't be sitting there and cold out, it needs to be warm and fresh whenever it is served. And if one knows about art of Japanese execution, is the perfect execution of the basics. It's the rice of the sushi, it's the tea.
Overall I think there are a lot of positives and there is definitely still room for improvements.
Obsessed with this Omakase place. The fish is so fresh. Our server said they came directly from Japan. Generous portions. Good value. I’d definitely recommend it!
