“Love the new space, great atmosphere and service. It has been beautifully updated with the original hotel bar still intact. Service was very friendly despite it being quite busy. We tried the Tot Waffle with Smoky Aioli and Horsey Sauce, it was a perfect crispy/tasty bar food option! They carry a selection of NYS liquors in custom cocktails, and some options for cider from Awestruck, as well as Thousand Island Winery wines for those who aren't beer drinkers. We had a great time and definitely will be coming back!”

“Every time we have driven by we say "some day" we need to eat there. Well TODAY is SOME DAY! And am I sure glad we did. French Onion soup some of the best I have ever tasted. My daughter wants the recipe so she can have it at school. My dinner was ground round smothered in beef mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes with more gravy. Simple comfort food but done extremely well. You can tell it's made in house from scratch. Delicious, taking most of it home, and I will be eating it later. Hubs had open-faced prime rib, with fries, and it was amazing. Daughter had grilled ham and swiss on rye and she said it was the best she has ever had. Comfortable surroundings, great service, reasonable prices. I will be back! Thank you for a wonderful end to a beautiful ride!”

“Amazing food, great beer, tasty cocktails, courteous and friendly staff. Fried haddock is delicious, absolutely worth trying it if you're here on a Friday. I had the fried cheese curds as well, really great, and portioned well.”

“Great store full of great people, quick with a smile or joke to brighten your day, great deals available with the circle k card, currently gas is unavailable, but should be available again shortly, but don't let that stop you from stopping in and getting a fresh made sub or pizza, or any other snack you might have a taste for.”

“I love this diner for breakfast. I haven't been there for lunch or dinner but the breakfast food, prices, and service are fantastic. It's cash only but there's an ATM at the front door. I've never left hungry.”

“Great service! Fantastic food. Great choices for a smaller establishment. I will certainly be back. The Reuben was amazing. Nice to have a great little deli outside of a chain/grocer to get a bite to eat or deli meats. Prices are also good for the quality and amount.”

“Honestly, depending on the day, it could be 2 stars or 3. Most of the time the staff is super friendly, but the overall management seems to be a problem. The word is short -staffed. I may visit Burger King once a month or twice a week, it depends. But what is consistent is too few people trying to do too many jobs. Why? My guess is the pay hike for fast food workers; the big corporations are cheap. One counter person sometimes is also the take-out window person, and I usually only see 2 people filling orders. The turnover rate is high. That alone also says something about the work environment. One pet peeve about Boonville Burger King...the counter to the side of the registers should be for the placement of the customer orders, but this short space seems always to be loaded with stacks of trays or cleaning items or whatever that is in the way. It's okay, they try hard but the faces keep changing. At $11.75 an hour, you would think workers would stay and become seasoned. I don't know if this is just our small town, or if all chains are not interested in retaining good employees.”

“When you first walk in the door, the owner always seems to greet people with "What do you want", instead of the standard "How many for dinner?" The food is just ok, as some meals and drinks were not made properly. I've been going here for several months hoping the service improves. But it hasn't. Also the a.c. cannot keep up, so it gets a little warm.”

“Fun experience! Pulled into a nice farm house , cowboy looking guy was in the back of a tractor trailer in the sorta middle of nowhere another woman and another cowboy came out of the house and asked how they could help us the cowboys were the “wrisley brothers” seemed very young to be doing the work they they seem to have a number of ventures centered around their farm. I have to tell you these guys were super polite and gracious! The older brother even closed the door on the car for my wife! You don’t see those kind of manners these days. Prices were very good and we ate the beef and it was excellent! We will absolutely go back again. Only bummer was I didn’t have the heart to try to negotiate on the prices didn’t even try........ just too nice of a “kid” lol”
