“This is a nice place to get burgers, hot dogs and sausages. Prices were reasonable and I appreciated the house made sides. The coleslaw had dill in it, which I really liked. They also made recent improvements to the building and there are some tables on the deck out back plus a small covered pavilion with picnic tables.”

“Poke Jar- Really nice sushi spot right on the river which has a small town feel. They play music you would hear cruising in your car along the beach on a sunny day that definitely caters to any audience. Sushi is really good quality ingredients. This place has been around for about a month or so and you can't go wrong with it. Pricing is very fair considering other tiers of sushi restaurants in Albany or around the capital district. I started out with the Dragons Den Ramen which is very very good, I would give it a 4.6* I get mine extra spicy! I finished off with the pork belly buns by recommendation Which are out of this world!! (thinly sliced marinated roasted pork belly on steamed bro bun with the other ingredients, sauce and toppings) I’ve never had anything like that before but I can tell you that these were Phenomenal! If you want to impress your date come here for dinner, if you just want a casual lunch then just come for lunch on the weekdays!”

“I love supporting small business especially when they are local. I would have loved to have given 5 stars but unfortunately the pizza was mediocre at best. The crust was very thin, the edges were burned, and where the cheese stopped and crust began was over an inch and a half. Boneless buffalo wings are my absolute favorite and for $16 for a dozen I was expecting a real treat... the wings we were given were completely plain, no buffalo sauce whatsoever or side sauces but the flavor of the chicken was good. The mozzarella sticks were great and I enjoyed the marinara sauce. Overall it was ok, but I really expected better.”

“Very comfortable. Room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable and firm. Has a small gym inside asking with a swimming pool, a hot tub and a nice arrangement with a meeting room and little business area with computer setup. The front is arranged nice too with a very cozy inviting and relaxing area with ample seating to sit and relax. Very convenient with a gas station almost in the same lot along with a convenience store that really carries what you'd like to relax with back at the hotel. There was a Continental buffet style breakfast that was extremely nice and their staff is on point. They don't mind helping you out and I wish I knew they had the poll and gym area because I would've brought without clothes and swim trunks.”

“I was in Albany on business and we decided to try a pizza place that was near the hotel. We we're pleasantly surprised when Goomba's was quite delicious. The pizza was quite tasty, but could have been done a little more on the bottom. The wings we got with the pie were very good. The choices of sauces for the wings and types of toppings we substantial. The specials were not plentiful, but they met our needs. It would be nice to see the ability to add toppings to specials on the app. The prices seemed decent for what we got and I would definitely buy it again. I also purchased some baklava, which was slightly overpirced but still good. In conclusion Goomba's is an average pizza place which I would not hesitate recommending to people. It was not my favorite, but I would stomp again.”
