“This restaurant is a newly found treasure that just opened in my friend’s town. We ordered take out. I wish I had pictures to show … but we ate everything so quickly we missed the opportunity. I’m a girl from Queens and Long Island so I’ve had plenty of Thai food before but never like this! This food was different than any Thai food I’ve ever had. The flavors were so distinct and fresh just the aroma of them made my mouth water. The presentation of the dish was also very impressive. The sauces were light and flavorful and did not overwhelm the seafood or the chicken in the dishes but instead highlighted the quality of the cuisine. We shared the chicken Pad Thai with chicken and the Thai fried rice with shrimp and chicken. The portions were plentiful and more then enough for two. Our children were quick to scoop up anything left behind. The staff was very accommodating at explaining the menu and offering different options. We will definitely stop in next time. We want to try their Thai ice tea ! The owner said they are yummy! I can’t wait! People …if you live in Nyack … don’t miss this stop .. I won’t . “I came here with a couple of girlfriends to celebrate a birthday after a couple of times of rescheduling due to bad weather. A huge thanks to Naomi, the owner, for being so flexible. The owners are super friendly and personable and made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed ourselves. The facility is really beautiful and gives you a relaxing vibe. The instructor was fun and very accommodating. The only reason I don’t give this place 5 stars is because of the food and the painting selection. The food was OK. I ordered truffle fries with Parmesan and I got spicy seasoned fries. I couldn’t taste any truffle oil because the fries were so spicy. Also, the painting for the night was changed without our knowledge which was a little disappointing because we chose that particular paint night for that particular painting. But we had fun and made the best of it. I would just recommend letting customers know ahead of time if you are going to change the type of painting done for the session. Overall though, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely return.”

“Such a warm cozy restaurant..you feel like you’re dining in a loved ones home. The food is scrumptious. Anything you choose off the menu- you can not go wrong. This is my first encounter with southern cuisine at My Fathers House and I have been here a couple of times since the eatery has opened its doors. The staff- super sweet and friendly. The food is delicious and is made from the heart. I was able to meet with the head chef and owner/ and I tell you- her love for her craft is reflected in the rich foods created. My faves: hush puppies and fried okra, their savory vegetarian meatloaf, smothered pork chops. Next visit- definitely going to have their Pecan encrusted Salmon for sure. Their portions are amazing. Definitely a place to eat good food with good people.”
