    We set up a booking through orbitz, the room fee plus a $100 extra guest fee (we paid extra for a third person, normal for the area).
    After our stay we were charged an additional $111 fee with no reason (this was on top of the $100 extra person fee we paid the hotel).
    I’ve tried to contact the hotel through email since 2/18 but haven’t had a response yet.
    The staff was friendly during our stay.
    Even though we booked and paid extra for a third person they were surprised when three showed up and the room wasn’t set up for three (no sheets on the pull out, towels and robes for two).
    All around would have been a four star stay except for the overcharge/lack of communication with the hotel after the stay/charge.
    I’ll update my score/post if I get any further response. Still trying to get an explanation/refund on the extra charge.

    For us the BEST place to stay on Shelter Island. Wonderful accommodations, terrific staff, great amenities, and delicious restaurant on premises. It's a jewel.

    We had a group event. Wonderful evening! Attentive staff, yummy foods, delicious cocktails.
