“My new favorite spot on Long Island! Having just moved to the area, I was astounded at the plethora of local knowledge and information I was able to attain from one of Jamesport’s managers, Matt. He was also serving behind the bar, so in order to talk to him a little more I sat at the bar with him and he walked me through a few of their top sellers, and I had one of the most amazing pizzas I’ve ever had in my life! Everything we did the rest of the day was on Matt’s suggestion, and everything was absolutely perfect about our first visit. We can’t wait to visit again soon, thanks again to Matt for an incredible stay and all of the great suggestions on what to do in the area! We will definitely be back soon! Great wine! Great pizza! After praising the owner about how delicious the Ginger Salad was after taking my first bite- the chef came out and informed me that its all fresh and made with all natural ingedients - each and every day......The Salad alone was better than Aji,takumi,kotabuki and the other local japanese cuisines ive frequented in the area over the years....for the main course I got the classic Ramen bowl which had a great blend of natural herbs and spices imported from overseas and again- ALL NATURAL...the presentation was fabulous- The Chicken perfectly tender, vegetables and mushrooms were all fresh and delicious ..... After being full just half way into eating the generous portion they served - I couldn't resist trying to get another mouthful in.... it was that good and full of flavor......... For desert i had the Green Tea pudding which has matcha,cocunut, vanilla bean ,blueberry and yuzu dressings over the top of it...... Like everything else - It was mader of all natural ingredients- served fresh from the kitchen -and was beyond delicious..... Pricing across the board was surprisingly very affordable considering the high quality of the food -the generous serving sizes and overall high quality across the board ...... Highly Reccomended..... “This is my 2nd time having Japanese Bbq, and wow! I was blown away! There's a gem in Bayshore waiting to be found by all. When it comes to Jbbq you definitely get your money's worth here, all while crushing the competition when it comes to prices. I had the pleasure of trying both BBQ and their Hot Pot.. I loved it. They have 5 broths to choose from with a huge selection of ingredients for each. I was extremely happy. Their drinks are also cheap which is a great thing! If you've never experienced Jbbq you need to get here ASAP! Ask for the server Jennifer, she was awesome ?”

“It is not very often when I think I owe the Manager and staff a excellent review but it is truly deserved in this case. I booked 2 nights initially at the hotel. The first night we were unable to arrive do to weather. Melissa was very kind and let us cancel with no charge. Thank you Melissa! The nest night from the moment we entered the hotel we were treated with top notch service. It started when we were welcomed entering and the gentleman who checked us in was extremely polite and courteous. My room was large and very comfortable. We had only booked one night for a party of three but we all agreed we should stay for a week. The evening manager Joe was able to accommodate our request and we were planing on enjoying our stay. Unfortunately our company changed our plans and we requested the next morning that the hotel cancel our stay of the extended period. Our request was granted! I was very pleased with all of the staff and the hotel. I give all of the hotel staff the highest marks! Thank you and I will visit again. All the Best! Stayed July 2016”
