“Absolutely loved the Eccentric Bagel! Decided to visit Shelter Island as a weekend getaway from western LI and did not expect to find one of my favorite bagel places of all time. Loved being in the area for the first time ever, and will definitely be back to the Eccentric Bagel, which has my highest recommendation. In addition to some amazing bagel sandwiches, the tuna salad was some of the best I've ever had. Loved seeing Cel-Ray so far east too!”

“Plan ahead accordingly if you are in a rush or attempting to go here while you commute. Long drive through line, may have been because of the rain. 🤷♀️”
Address: 111 Main St, Sag Harbor, NY 11963, USA
“Very good New York bagels right on main street. I wish the inside was a little nicer but it still hits the spot. The Hobo sandwich on a roll is a hearty, savory morning experience to try! The tofu cream cheese is notably good! There is also a small local provisions area inside. Bagels will come wrapped in paper, then paper foil, and in a plastic bag if you get more than 2”

“I don't get to visit long Island as much as I want. But when I do come, I love getting the bagels and especially the egg sandwiches. This place is relatively close to my family on the island and is definitely worth the drive. Not only is it my family's favorite spot, but mine as well. Plus the staff is both nice and quick with their service. A wonderful spot that everyone should try.”

“Hands down the best catering experience I ever had!! It was a last minute party my family asked me to host since cousins from out West unexpectedly visited ( that’s another story 🥴). This was on a Friday and we were looking to throw a party on Saturday afternoon. I called The Gourmet Bagel Co and explained my situation. The owners were fantastic and extremely accommodating given the short notice. They went through the menu and made suggestions for the amount of people I had. The next day they delivered amazing platters of wraps, salads and mini sandwiches that my family loved. The food was simply amazing! They use really good ingredients and didn’t cut any corners on the presentation. My wife was thrilled and insists we only cater from them in the future. Thanks for helping on such short notice and delivering an amazing meal for an unexpected event”

“It’s a comprehensive deli experience with nice seating and opens early! The iced coffee is great!”

“This is more than a bagel store…it’s a very nice, large, and clean eatery…similar to a Panera. The menu is quite extensive with home made salads and cream cheeses. Their unique sandwiches are packed with meats and cheeses. But maybe most of all, this bagel store is family owned and pay attention to details and they treat their customers as if we were part of that family too. I highly recommend them for catering as well. Beautifully made platters and heroes were delivered for a party I was having and my guests enjoyed every bite!”

“They have all different kinds of egg, ham, sausage based breakfast options starting from $4.30 to $9.50 in 2022. Bagel only line is quick and dedicated. There's space for eating in too. People are friendly. Mostly white people but I saw a black dude ordering breakfast there too. It's a nice cozy, friendly morning bagel 🥯 shop.”

“Went in here for the first time today after passing it by 1000 times. Even my son said, "Wow Mom. What a clean and friendly bagel shop this is." He couldn't have said it better. The shop is clean, staff is super friendly, and the bagels are huge! Definitely making this our regular weekend stop.”

“Love this place - my favorite Goldbergs location!! Staff are fantastic, service is great, and prices are solid! If you are just ordering plain bagels/spreads - you can order at the counter to the right and avoid some of the line. Highly recommend their lox cream cheese!”

“Great breakfast and lunch place. My go-to when in Montauk 👍🏼👍🏼”
Address: 36 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Commack, NY 11725, USA
“Nice place. Food is average. The biggest complaint i have is its very expensive. They charged me 1.50 each to add lettuce and tomato to my sandwich. I could see maybe .50. My wife and I ordered a salad and chicken sandwich which came to 35 bucks. Very pricey for deli type food. Again, no complaints about the food as it was ok but I will be going to other local places in the future.”
Address: 260 Commack Rd, Commack, NY 11725, USA
“Not a great selection of cold cuts... just your basics pretty much since it's a small deli. If you want any "specialty" cold cuts I recommend going elsewhere. However, they're getting 4 stars since the sandwiches were solid - not skimpy in the least. Salads were also fresh. A good place for a quick sandwich or a bagel and they have breakfast sandwiches as well.”
Address: 4 Vanderbilt Motor Pkwy, Commack, NY 11725, USA
“Very good. The ice tea isn't super sweet which I liked my husband didn't love that. The Bacon Egg and cheese seemed it would be perfect but it was covered in pepper never had that much applied before the bread was black. We will try again since it was raved about as best bagels in town and we will close.”
