“Very fast service and quality is good as expected. The biggest upside is that it does not burn a hole in your pocket and they deliver for almost no delivery fees. Pro-tip: use their website to order food rather than using third party apps. You save a lot that way and it’s much faster as well.”

“Delicious food, delivery is fairly slow, but the delivery man was very polite.”

“This is an absolutely lovely little restaurant. What they lack in space they make up for with an expansive menu full of absolutely delicious dishes. I never worry about ordering something new from here because everything is just so tasty. The prices are fair for the food quality and portions. The staff are super friendly and attentive. If it gets really busy the service might be a little slow going, but they always seem to do a good job handling a busy dinner service. Definitely worth the trip. I know this is such a glowing review it sounds unreal but this is just my absolute favorite restaurant in Ithaca, hands down. P.S. Don’t forget to tip your wait staff people, there is literally never an excuse not to.”

“Seriously impressive stuff. The decor is tasteful and modern with hints of more traditional Asian influences with the branches on the walls and the cutlery. The food is excellent and this is coming from someone who usually abhors Asian fusion restaurants. The green curry pasta that I got had great flavor with the curry base seeping through the noodles to create a great blend of taste with the crispy salmon on top adding nice tones of texture to the dish. All in all a great experience”

“So glad the store is back open. The new owner did a great job renovating. BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN ITHACA BY FAR OFFERED UNTIL 9PM EVERYDAY!! They now offer subs which are delicious, perfect for grab-n-go! Great brand new staff, they provided me with good service. Definitely going back. But, make sure you have your ID if you buying booze cause they didn't sell to me which I am glad as it protects the community I was told by the employee that the new policy is 100% ID.”

“Wonderful food, clean restaurant, great atmosphere. Outstanding beer selection to pair with your food. Homemade dressings, fresh ingredients. Kathy was most accommodating, super friendly!! She shared the history of Red's and the local area, since it was our first trip to the 'downtown' Ithaca area. The Thai wings are Amazing!! The Cuban was yummy with a mix of fresh flavors and ingredients that I would never think of, but they make it work! My hubby had the Cowabunga, which is some if the most tender well seasoned smoked brisket, topped with an apple slaw! The Ithaca Lakeside lager was crisp, cold, and a nice light hop flavor with a fruity flower finish! We splurged and got the mixed berry cobbler for dessert, and Kathy made sure we got hot fresh coffee for us when we asked. We know were to come to eat, sit and relax the next time we come into town! See you in May, when we come for our next Cornell Animal Hospital visit.”

“Amazing ambiance and interior design, great menu, very attentive service, and delicious food. The staff seemed a little green, but they ended up serving very well. The central fireplace is one of the best spots in Ithaca to have a hot or cold drink! Highly recommended.”

“Ithaca went through some lean years for vegans after ABC Cafe closed, but Angelhearts Diner has set everything right in the world once again, while raising the bar for quality vegan meals to unprecedented levels. The restaurant itself is simply beautiful. It's super clean with a classic 1950s-style decor, and everything is brand new since they just opened in late 2019. The food is off the charts, and I'd go so far to say that their breakfast offerings outdo anything served in Manhattan. I had the breakfast burrito and a couple biscuits with jam, with a bottomless cup of excellent coffee. Man oh man! Everything was so delicious and the sausage in the breakfast burrito and on the full plate was about the most delicious vegan meat I've ever eaten. My non-vegetarian dining companion was equally impressed by the food. I was only in town for a day so I made sure to come back for lunch and their house-made veggieburger was one of the best I've ever had. Kim, the lady who opened the place with her son, has an incredible work ethic and really puts her soul into this place. I've eaten at vegan restaurants in almost every state and more than 20 countries, and Angelhearts was one of the best and most memorable dining experiences of my life. If I lived in Ithaca I'd eat breakfast here several times a week.”

“Fabulous, authentic Middle Eastern food in Ithaca. Rejoice! Great owners and terrific food offerings, despite the small, non-romantic indoor seating area. A great addition to a burgeoning world food scene in Ithaca.”

“Sushi was very good! Went opening night and the wait was over an hour, but hopefully this will sort itself out as they settle down. Essentially just Miyake with some extra Korean dishes. No drinks or desserts on menu.”

“I order from this place all the time, and i have to say the best thing to order from this place is there wings. for 50 cent a wing and the size of them you can't beat it. the cheese pizza is only a dollar 25 a slice and if you want deal the guy will work with you to make it happen. besides those two items the place needs to bring better food to the table and faster serves. But 50 cent wings all day now thats what I'm talking about.”

“Delicious tacos and excellent service. They did a really wonderful job on our lunch. My only complaint is I would have liked a little lighter fare. Three tacos, beans, rice and pickled carrots is a little much, and I couldn't come close to finishing. The tacos would have been more than enough.”

“Tuna salad and pork belly were both excellent. Pork in the pork buns was dry and tough. Service was glacial, and I had to wait half an hour from when I finished eating until I got the check. Overall, food is good if you know what to order, but plan on a lot of extra time spent waiting”

“Always amazed and impressed with the food here! There's also a great associated cookbook for their classic recipes! This is one of my favourite Ithaca restaurants of all time. Usually a good idea to make a dinner reservation, because it gets busy!”

“Good food, other than the specials the menu has remained the same for at least 5 years. There's something for everyone. Cash only.”

“The food is a little pricey but absolutely delicious. I know I will definitely be returning sometime in the future. It's important to know there are two halves of the restaurant. One is the bar side, the other is the restaurant side. The happy hour deals are for the bar side. My friends and I first went to the bar side to take advantage of the happy hour deals, then moved to the restaurant side for dinner. The service was also very friendly.”

“This is a pretty great little eatery in Ithaca. I got the Philadelphia-style veggie sandwich. Full of fries and maybe too much lettuce, it was a sloppy messy delight. Totally not healthy at all I'm sure, but it was really quite good. I wasn't able to finish it! I recommend ordering the half-size sandwich if you are eating it in one sitting. If I have one complaint, it's that the sandwich was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the portions too large. But service was very prompt and very friendly. Really cool guys working there. Great vibe. Great quick bite to eat!”

“this place's exterior does not do the food justice. everything was delicious and high quality. No complaints about the service. All and all a great experience that I would recommend. If you like spider rolls try the capital roll. Its a spider roll plus more good stuff. I almost missed it on the menu.”

“It was good local spot to go to. The sandwiches I ordered were breakfast ones and they were tasty. Good selection of sandwiches and subs on the menu. Different way they have customers order food by filling out a slip.”

“Something of a pricey little restaurant, but the food was all high-quality. Small but fairly curated menu. They had no Jack, and the liquor I did receive was nearly cask-strength. Could have been mixed better. The snack board I had (basically a charcuterie, something I typically like) was a bit odd, and could have used some more traditional meats and cheeses. All around an all right little eatery, but plan on spending a decent amount.”

“Excellent selection of coffee drinks, sandwiches, paninis, breakfast and so on! They even have beer on tap and a mini buffet. It’s really a unique little joint with a coffee shop vibe. Nice seating indoors and out and they have their own parking lot which can be difficult to find downtown. My cousin stops here every time she comes to visit and you should too!”

“Delicious, quick, and affordable poke bowls in the heart of Collegetown in Ithaca. The dining area is limited with only stool seating, so don't plan to sit around a table. That said, the food is worth it. My go-to is a big bowl with salmon, tuna, all the fixings and the classic poke sauce. Don't forget the wasabi tobiko!”

“Some of the best fried oysters I've ever had. The price was a tad bit steep yet for what we got, it was worth it; after all you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this place. I think they do fresh catch from the ocean if not themselves they buy directly from a beach location. Again I really give 5 stars but this place was good.”

“Zaza's is great for a special dinner or just in general. The New Zealand lamb rack is always my go to entree and it is always cooked to perfection. If you order medium, it comes out medium, if you order rare, it comes out rare, etc. The kitchen really knows what they are doing. The desserts are always top notch and the service is great. Everyone is always so nice and helpful and make you feel at home.”
