Drinks were expensive, $14 for a cocktail. That seems a bit excessive to me. Next time, I'll get a beer on tap which I prefer anyway. Ate here again for the second time this past Saturday. I felt compelled to offer an updated review based on our experience. It was even better this time. The food here is so good. I think the octopus and the pork shank are perfect dishes. Anybody who owns and runs a restaurant should come eat here so they can see how it is supposed to be done. Will be back.”

“I came here for lunch with my sister back in October and it was kind of disappointing. I was very excited to eat here because of the beautiful location and the name of the place itself. We were lucky enough to sit outside with a beautiful view of the Hudson River. The server who attended us was friendly but he just didn’t care about the food or the menu. I asked him about one of their chicken sandwiches and his reply was “it’s good” with no emotion! If you wanna sell your food and wow me, give me more than “it’s good”. Anyways, the food itself was okay. It tasted like something I could make at home. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with a side of salad. Like I said, it was okay. Nothing special. But it was about $17 which I feel is a little much for a sandwich of that quality. My sister ordered a salmon burger and she felt the same. I’m glad I tried this place out because I’ve always wanted to. I wouldn’t come back though. If you were to ask me, I’d say save your money. But if you are like me and like to try things out for yourself, then go for it. Maybe you’ll choose something better on the menu than I did.”

I love that they have a sugar free option as well as 2 dairy free sorbets daily. Also a tart option. But don't worry, they have pleanty of other great flavors to choose from. Tons of toppings (think candy, nuts, cookies, cereal etc, as well as fresh fruit options). Their loyalty card allows you to earn points which will give you $5.00 off your purchase. They put pickles and sauerkraut on the table right from the start, and the whole place is dairy-free to keep kosher. We opted to sit outside which, between light cycles, could be a bit loud with the traffic, but overall the outdoor seating was nice with the view of the harbor. If you want a quieter, more private date setting, sit inside.”
