“Atmosphere is nicer than Waffle House and the food was delicious. Waitress Kayla was very sweet. That said, I never thought I could spend $50 on breakfast in Leland, NC until I had breakfast at ESC. I didn’t like seeing that I was charged $3 for one cup of coffee, and $4.50 for one cup of OJ. I don’t have to mind drink prices when I go out to eat, but when I saw the bill it definitely added up. Lower your prices. I know you take pride in your product, but dang. I’m spending more for breakfast (and I’m not full) than I do for a dinner at most restaurants with a nicer atmosphere.”

“My husband and I had brisket in Texas when we attended my nephew's wedding. Ever since then, we have tried to find a place with good brisket and have not been successful....until now! We visited my sister in Leland and decided to get some brisket to bring home for our dinner. It was a four hour trip home and, if we had known how good it was going to be, it would probably have been devoured before we arrived home! I told my sister she may be seeing a lot more of us!!”

“Good tacos. Clean facility and restrooms. Enjoy the bar by the window for people watching. Order was quick and painless. Be sure if u want the dollar tacos, check out at five pm or later. For some reason we was charged full price for all tacos five mintues before five pm plus extra for cucumbers even though we let them keep their meat and cheese. ???? “So naturally, the medium cups at Hardee's are about the same size as the large cup at McDonalds. The food is better generally and the value can't be beat. This particular location was quite relaxed and gave me a rather enjoyable dining experience. Also the bathroom was clean so if you have to poop real quick go for it!”

“My family decided to try a quick service restaurant that we don't have at home. I have always wondered about this one so we went. The restaurant was clean and cool. We did have to wait a while on food. Biscuits were not good in our opinion. The baked beans were just bowls of chili beans. The chicken and it's breading were bland. Maybe it's because we're not from here. I won't go back to any others because it didn't fit in with the food we like.”

“Service wasn't at the usual level today and my breakfast was almost given to another table. The gentleman who brought me my order said that they were having issues with the order numbers not showing up on the correct order. One table had waited over 30 minutes for their food and when it was brought out it was mixed up with my order and served on the same plate. We finally explained what we each ordered and after replacement of plates our orders were delivered correctly with part of mine to-go. The English Breakfast tea was very bitter this morning and I will definitely check out the taste before leaving next time.”

“They are located right off of highway 17 near the Harris Teeter and the Jersey Mike’s. Right up the road from two hotels in Leland (less than a mile away) so it’s close by for travelers that are staying in the area. You can drive through or dine inside. Food is served quickly and is always good. I have never ate anything there I didn’t like. Both the chicken and the bbq is delicious and I tend to be very picky about chicken, so that’s saying a lot!! It’s crispy and seasoned on the outside while remaining juicy and flavorful on the inside! The staff is ALWAYS extremely polite and super helpful. I have only been given incorrect food once in the many, many times I have been there. And when I tell you they went above and beyond what was needed to correct the easily made and easily fixed mistake and make sure we fully satisfied, I mean it!! I always recommend them for BBQ (puked pork) in the nearby local area! Defiantly worth the stop.”

“Best pizza in town. If you’re originally from up north and miss a good slice of pizza pie, look no further. They can get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday nights but the pizza is well worth the wait, we usually pick up but I am pretty sure they deliver as well. I have tried a few of their grinders and pasta dishes as well and they are fresh and flavorful. Everyone in there is friendly and helpful. No complaints, definitely will keep choosing Frank’s over the others in town.”

“My wife and I have been going to Christopher’s for awhile now and have never been served a bad meal. The food is absolutely delicious. Christopher’s has a great selection of affordable lunch options as well as mouth watering dinner choices. We have tried almost every item on the menu and everything we have tried has been incredible. My favorite is the steak. The dinner rolls that are served when you are seated are hot, fresh and yummy. If you haven’t been to Christopher’s then I strongly suggest you try it. I hate that my wife and I did not discover this place sooner.”

They also overcharged us for food that we didn't receive, all In all the order total should have been lower than the price, yet there was nothing added into our order to add to the subtotal. We leave this place up to the opinion of who ever is dining there, but for us, it's a no go and you're better off spending a little more money at a restaurant that makes decent food.”

“My wife & I recently stopped by the Jimmy John's in Leland at 503 Olde Waterford Way (near the former Fat Tony's) and got some great, fresh sandwiches. Jimmy John's was the food sponsor donating sandwiches at the recent Wilmington Walk MS so we thought we'd check our out local shop. Super friendly young people working there with no lines and the best fresh sandwiches we've ever had and quite an extensive sandwich menu. They also have a drive through window. If you have visitors coming this summer, like we do, this is a great, convenient place to order sandwiches to suit all tastes. A hidden gem right here in Leland. Highly recommend. Super clean and modern with super food!”

“Always excellent service. Always. We love the employees! We miss the chilequiles from the brunch service, wish they still did brunch! Last time I was there I ordered Mexican street corn, it came with mayo, no seasoning. I sent it back and it came back with a retaliatory amount of seasoning. Like they were mad I sent it back. I'd love to see some creativity from the kitchen, new menu, new dishes.”

They are pretty friendly and very fast I will say that! Instead of trying to be so fast take the time to get the customers order correct so they don’t have to come back! Other then that this place is great...if they would just learn what extra cream and sugar means”
