“I love this place! I am an iced coffee fanatic, but not all iced coffees are made equally. The drinks I got at Island Jo were FANTASTIC and really hit the spot. They have so much variety. The coffee is smooth and not too sweet or too bitter. It's how coffee SHOULD be. My breakfast sandwiches were amazing too. I took some egg, bacon, and cheese bagel sandwiches back to our vacation spot and my parents who grew up on Philadelphia delis were really impressed as well and said they were excellent. Likewise, my husband said their "rye was amazing and perfectly toasted". The service we had was great. You can't ask for more than friendly, personable, and quick. I'd go here everyday if I lived in Oak Island.”

The one with pink nails even complemented my tattoo ????. Very pleased with service today. 7/14/19. Ordered a large tea and got a medium though but I wasn’t worried about it, used a deal so it was only .50 ????”

“Service wasn't at the usual level today and my breakfast was almost given to another table. The gentleman who brought me my order said that they were having issues with the order numbers not showing up on the correct order. One table had waited over 30 minutes for their food and when it was brought out it was mixed up with my order and served on the same plate. We finally explained what we each ordered and after replacement of plates our orders were delivered correctly with part of mine to-go. The English Breakfast tea was very bitter this morning and I will definitely check out the taste before leaving next time.”

They are pretty friendly and very fast I will say that! Instead of trying to be so fast take the time to get the customers order correct so they don’t have to come back! “As far as McDonalds goes this place is top tier. Friendly staff and the food is good. They have the order kiosk as well as mounted tablets on some of the tables for the little ones. Conveniently located next to Wal Mart and a loaded shopping center it makes for a good place to grab a quick bite while out running errands. There is a small park located nearby to take the kids with their happy meals if that's your thing.”

I got sweet tea which wasn't overly sweet like a lot of places make it. I got bacon eggs toast and hash browns was a little over $8. That was the only reason why they got four stars. Would I go back? Yes I would because of the great attitudes of the ladies there.”
