“The best bagels in the area! I tried just about every bagel sandwich at Mr Bagel Meister during my stay near the beach this summer. Each one was filling and delicious. The Turkey sausage on a breakfast sandwich was just the right amount of spicy, the Veggie cream cheese was my favorite of the many cream cheese selections and the Waterford (albacore tuna salad) was most refreshing. The staff was always friendly and the prices are very reasonable. It gets super busy on the weekends, so I always waited til later in the mornings. Try and enjoy!”

“Regular shopping day but made so much more than that by several wonderful employees! Stopped at Sammy’s sandwiches and Kayla’s enthusiasm was above and beyond! Loved how she greeted us, described the sandwiches and served us with attention and detail. Then we went to the pulled pork/chicken station and again greeted by several employees and helped with such kindness. To end it all off, Bridgette ( I’m pretty sure that was her name!) checked us out with another employee bagging and we had a chance to laugh together and truly enjoy our experience. Thank you Lowe’s for making shopping fun!!”

“I love this place! I am an iced coffee fanatic, but not all iced coffees are made equally. The drinks I got at Island Jo were FANTASTIC and really hit the spot. They have so much variety. The coffee is smooth and not too sweet or too bitter. It's how coffee SHOULD be. My breakfast sandwiches were amazing too. I took some egg, bacon, and cheese bagel sandwiches back to our vacation spot and my parents who grew up on Philadelphia delis were really impressed as well and said they were excellent. Likewise, my husband said their "rye was amazing and perfectly toasted". The service we had was great. You can't ask for more than friendly, personable, and quick. I'd go here everyday if I lived in Oak Island.”

“Service wasn't at the usual level today and my breakfast was almost given to another table. The gentleman who brought me my order said that they were having issues with the order numbers not showing up on the correct order. One table had waited over 30 minutes for their food and when it was brought out it was mixed up with my order and served on the same plate. We finally explained what we each ordered and after replacement of plates our orders were delivered correctly with part of mine to-go. The English Breakfast tea was very bitter this morning and I will definitely check out the taste before leaving next time.”

“I’m only giving 3 stars because everytime I order from here (which is everyday) I go here everyday before work and my coffee isn’t right! I get the same thing everyday! They are pretty friendly and very fast I will say that! Instead of trying to be so fast take the time to get the customers order correct so they don’t have to come back! Other then that this place is great...if they would just learn what extra cream and sugar means”
