And the food is good but not what you wanna pay for simple seafood! And if you didn't get full off what you ordered dont try to order just an extra of something on your plate because we were informed I could just order one more taco I would have to order that whole meal again which is the biggest crock I've heard ever! “Good food. Interesting order and payment system. First you go up to the counter, order your food, give a name for the order, pick up your own drinks. Go out and seat yourself. They call your name, you raise your hand, they bring it to your table. When you're done, you go back out to where you first ordered and them give your name from the order and they ring you up to pay. I got the special, which was shrimp, crab cake, and corn on the cob for about $15. It was very good?”

“Went in for breakfast as a recommendation from a friend. The two ladies working there were extremely nice everything was cooked to order. I got sweet tea which wasn't overly sweet like a lot of places make it. I got bacon eggs toast and hash browns was a little over $8. That was the only reason why they got four stars. Would I go back? Yes I would because of the great attitudes of the ladies there.”

“I love Archibald's! My boyfriend and I live in Atlanta, and his grandmother lives in Shallotte. Everytime we come visit her, we always have to stop in and eat here!! My family and I are locals and regulars to this excellent eatery, and we solidly prefer this restaurant to any other in the Holden Beach area. The owners are spectacular, and the employees are steady, with fairly low turnover for a local restaurant. This results in an experienced staff that is familiar with the restaurant and their culinary offerings. Be advised... this is a tourism area, and wait times can be extraneous at any restaurant worth patronizing. The long lines and wait times aren’t the fault of the restaurant, but rather a testament to the quality of their food and the amount of tourism in our area. Be patient, and enjoy your visit!”
