“We found The Station about two days after they opened early summer. Now I’ve been to a few bars in my life… I have to say, I’ve only felt at home and welcome each time I walk in. Great music most nights, local talent. And Rachel, what can I say? People come in just for her amazing Espresso Martini, me I just drink beer. However, she has made this place the ONLY Go-To spot in Black Mountain!!!”

“***Update*** had brunch with our friends from out of town. The staff was very friendly and took safety precautions with hand sanitizer available for guests and all wait staff wore masks. Our table had a mix of everything from the superb shrimp & grits, to the morning melt, pesto omelette, and even a side of biscuits & gravy. We also partook in mimosas just to top it all off. Let’s be honest in our current day and age with everything going on it’s nice to have the option for an adult beverage to take the edge off now and again. To continue we sat outside on the patio which was dog friendly and very kid friendly as well (with tables placed further apart for safety.) They also had a bunch of different types of baked goods which all look delectable but we didn’t have a chance to nab any this time. In general the place was clean the food was delicious and it came out fast. There was plenty of variety for everyone to choose. Much happier this go around compared to Octobers. Bravo guys well done!!”

“This is a nice Starbucks, near I-40 when you’re on your way to Nashville from the Smokey Mountains; good-sized inside, bathroom was clean, and the people were friendly! Would recommend to a friend.”

“The good thing about most McDonald's like this one is predictability. Like most McDonald's this one was predictably satisfactory. It's also conveniently located close to the interstate.”

“I'm a frequent visitor to Black Mountain, but this is the first time I've actually been able to eat lunch at the Veranda Cafe. Excellent experience all the way around. First, the food was outstanding. I tried one of the special soups - a creamed collard greens and ham - and the special of the day - Asian pineapple chicken curry over rice. Both were savory and delicious. Topped this off with a delectable salted caramel cheesecake with freshly made decaf coffee. Perfect complement to the meal. Also, the staff was friendly and attentive (even with a full house), and the decor/environment was warm and cozy on a sunny but chilly day outside. I would also recommend getting there early. By noon on a Tuesday, the restaurant was full with a growing waiting list. But the wait is worth it. Highly recommended.”
