“The ice cream I had was super gigantic that I didn’t even finish it. I’m not much of an ice cream eater. But this place served some bomb a** ice cream. It was so soft and smooth. Also very delicious! The milk shakes that my friends brought was humongous also. It looked good too! I went when it was a bit chilly, but I bet if it was warmer it woulda tasted 100x better. It was still good though. I say go give it a try! There’s only drive thru or order and pay by phone only. You couldn’t eat inside because the family was inside and they had small children there. It was absolutely fine to me. There was seating outside with benches and tables. The cost was with it because the portion was so big!”

“We found The Station about two days after they opened early summer. Now I’ve been to a few bars in my life… I have to say, I’ve only felt at home and welcome each time I walk in. Great music most nights, local talent. And Rachel, what can I say? People come in just for her amazing Espresso Martini, me I just drink beer. However, she has made this place the ONLY Go-To spot in Black Mountain!!!”

“Stopped in for a quick bite and ended up getting more. The sausage egg biscuit sandwich was so flavorful and melt in your mouth. They have great quality coffee. Very robust and love the designs on top. The chocolate cake with almond buttercream is a nice end to it all. Also loved the different flavor beverages you could choose that she cold and they also have little side options of spices, nuts, syrups you can purchase too. Seating is available downstairs when you enter and even more upstairs as well.”

“New, fresh, cool, contemporary…!! My family and I had a great experience at The Restoration. From the moment we entered to the morning we checked out. William at the front desk greeted us with a smile and was very helpful with all of the questions we had. The valet was great as well -he helped with finding the best hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Fast and efficient service too. The coffee bar/barista and in-house restaurant were wonderful. Everyone we met was friendly and eager to help. The room provided plenty of space for 4 people. The decor is clean and contemporary with nods to classic finishes. Overall a pleasurable experience! Job well done! -Marco F”

“Love this place! We came on a hot, rusty morning, but the staff were more than helpful in moving several tables around in order to accommodate our nine person party in the shade! This type of service is outstanding! We had the smashed avocado sandwich, the salad, the wonderful smoothies, the granola, all of it was so exquisite! Yes, it is great for gluten-free folks, and for dairy free folks, but this is awesome for us without allergies as well :-) have a great time, and make sure to visit this restaurant when you come ti Asheville North Carolina. Peace, Joshua”

“This place has some of the most delicious teas and very energizing and will definitely get you through the day. Love the dragon kiss and ocean eyes which they did recommend to me. Their protein shakes are also so good, personal favorite is the white chocolate pretzel. Amazing service and overall a very great atmosphere to be in. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area!”

“So yummy! Can’t wait to go back and try more. I got the bacon egg and cheese on a ramp cheddar biscuit, which was one of the specials. Love the vibe, local ingredients, coffee and quick service. The meal here was way better than the one I had the night before at the Grove Park.”

“This was the best board game cafe I’ve been to! There’s more and more variations of these in many cities, but we really enjoyed our time at Well Played. Very nice location, clean, plenty of game options, great menu for food, snacks, and drinks. Not to mention we had awesome service from Justin and two other staff members whose names we didn’t get. Wish our board game cafe in Nashville was this good!”

“Good home style sandwiches. Had a club and a bbq pulled pork on sourdough. Lots of meat on both. The pulled pork is very sweet. Deli is located inside the farmers market, in building A. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.”

“The house coffee is amazing. A great selection of coffee. The food menu was great, stuff you won't find anywhere else. It's a small place but great atmosphere. I've never eaten there but I've been told it's great. I can only speak for the coffee, and it's spot-on - fresh ground and hot. The service is quick. The only down side is it's hard to park close to the place when traffic is thick in the morning. You may have to park and walk but trust me, it's worth it. The barista was friendly and helpful.”

“This Starbucks is awesome! From eco-friendly cups and straws, to multi-function sinks and water saving restrooms, this location has the environment AND it's customers in mind. We will definitely be stopping by this Starbucks again on our way through Asheville in the future.”

“Fun ambience, and quality ingredients for sure. Lamb stew was delicious, otherwise the croissant madame and French dip were slightly lacking. We had hoped for a bit flavor given the price and that those were the two top recommendations of our waiter. The food came out a bit lukewarm, which may have affected the taste. Also, if you’re sitting on the patio, bring sunscreen. We weren’t offered an umbrella and left with sunburns.”

“Such a hidden gem! Unique, fresh, and delicious. The poke doke bowl and spring rolls were amazing! Always a plus as well when the staff is super sweet and friendly. A must try!”

“I like their food other than the desserts. The staff are courteous and helpful. Their food isn’t preferable for my tastes as someone who is used to eating meat so the meat substitutes are a bit odd texture wise for me. But all my vegetarian and vegan friends rave over it! And as someone who is allergic to milk, I love the dairy alternatives. The only reason why it has four stars is because of a not so perfect cheese cake I had there once and an incorrect order. But otherwise, it’s great! Plus if you want a drink and some Irish food afterwards for later, you can just head down the stairs and boom! You’re there. It’s a really neat shortcut and I think it’s super unique.”

“Great little place to stop in for a cup of (good!) coffee or beer. Quiet, dark, in the middle of town. Only a handful of tables and no bar service but a great “resting “ spot.”

“This is a cute cafe with a little vibe, but it's bigger than it looks! Plenty of seating indoors, even with social distancing. They also do a great job of keeping everyone clean and safe. They compost and recycle all the waste, overall very mindful business. The food was very good! Each item had that one little extra thing on it that makes you go 'Wow, that's good!' the everything avocado toast had fresh bread, well seasoned, egg cooked perfectly, and the pork bacon was top of the line ?? the breakfast burrito was flavorful and filling. The Root Hash in it was unique but really made the dish. The green day smoothie was a perfect start to breakfast. The huckleberry was a delicious lighter choice. Overall wonderful food, atmosphere, and staff!”

“My wife and I came in on a lark while on vacation and got completely blown away! If I could give more stars I would!! We got tea service with Hunter at the the bar (which is absolutely gorgeous) and he took the time to give us a quality and thorough Tea 101 I didn’t know that I needed. He was kind and honestly made an unforgettable experience. He even let me take notes lol! You can tell how much he genuinely appreciates and loves his craft. Also, he has an online shop so we can continue our patronage from Atlanta, sells locally made tea sets, and actually goes to China to work with his suppliers and pick his product every year.”

“Husband and I ordered the Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit as well as the Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit, Avocado Toast w/ Lime Salt, and the cinnamon roll. We were blown away with how amazing everything tasted and couldn’t believe the great price we paid to receive such large portions! We were beyond happy with our breakfast here and will most definitely come back. Worth every penny!”

“In an effort to write a review of this place i first had to remember the address. Why? because the place has no name. That’s right, there is a sign out front with only the address on it. So once you get past that hurdle you’ll walk in and order at the counter. you can order off the menu or out of the deli case of fresh attractive items. if you’ve never been to this no-name place before you’ll be a little confused about their system. rightfully so because it’s not clear and the staff will most likely skip over addressing that subtlety with you. once you order, pay and then grab a seat. your food won’t come out in any particular order and if there are a few of you with different items don’t plan on eating at the same time or be given a clue as to what’s going on. the food is quite good once it does arrive - fresh, appetizing and memorable. your company will be antsy to go because they’ve already nibbled their food away while waiting for yours. the dining room is spacious and relaxing and the best feature of this establishment. cleanliness is eight out of ten. with management that knows how to spell hospitality this no-name place would be a winner.”
