“My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant and we're so glad we did. The reviews are accurate...this place is REALLY good! It was the perfect place to celebrate an anniversary but not too fancy if you happen to stumble upon it dressed with your laid back beach attire, like we did. Either way the staff will welcome you and make you feel like you belong at as this 1898 historic home. The food is well prepared and tastes perfect. We had the Parrot salad, Pimento cheese, Pistachio Encrusted Mahi, Salmon with Crab, Shrimp & Grits, Scallops with Grits, and their Chocolate Cobbler/lava dessert, twice-all of it was AMAZING and all of that food was over the course of two nights bc yes, we came back the very next night! When you find a restaurant with excellent customer service and excellent food, there's NO NEED to go try something different at another place. As a matter of fact, we saw two other parties from the night before return also-it was so funny and it felt like "Cheers"(NORM) for a moment, but THAT should tell you something. I noticed even some locals chatting with the waiters outside and it confirmed that this place is very unique as the wait staff were very sincere in their care for the customers-you can't fake that. We've been to several restaurants over the course of 4 years in the Atlantic Beach/Morehead City area and this is Truly the best place to eat and experience not only excellent food but exceptional service! “Delicious (and beautiful) food served in a lovely tearoom with a wonderful atmosphere. In addition to great food they put on live, festive plays. The actors are the servers! I drive from Jacksonville to Morehead frequently for the homemade quiche of the day and salad with walnuts. They offer a variety of teas but I prefer old fashioned sweetened iced tea which they also serve. You need to eat at this cafe!”

“We love it there! The staff is always friendly and attentive! The food is always prepared to perfection! I had flounder and shrimp with smashed potatoes and asparagus and my daughter had jerk chicken, beans and rice. Both of our meals were delicious! It's beside the sound, so the view is nice and the decor is fun. When we're in the area, Amos Mosquitoes is a must do!”

My son got a fried chicken sandwich and fries which he also enjoyed. After dinner, we took a walk on the connected pier. Altogether, a lovely experience.”

“We ate there twice during our week stay. We always pick the place we liked best for our last night out. Our last night throw down was at Full Moon. We started with seared tuna bites then it was a dozen oysters on the half shell, from there a cup of delicious she crab bisque. The main course was steamed mussels. We ended the evening with a slab of key lime pie. Yes we made pig's of ourselves and we will go back and do it again because everything was super delicious.”

“I have purchased fresh seafood from here the last two times we have been in the Pine Knoll Shores area. This time, on my way out of town, i had to stop and bring some shrimp, grouper, and crab dip back to the Triad because it was so good when we got it and cooked on the island. The jumbo shrimp were some of the best I have had in a long time. Their crab dip is really solid too, it is really sweet and flavorful. We will definitely be back for more the next time we are in that area.”

“What a fantastic surprise. The chicken Orlando, chicken Alfredo, and white clam sauce were beyond amazing. All patrons in the restaurant were exclaiming about how fabulous food was for them as well. “The limited time roast beef sandwich was quite good. The French fries were cooked at too low a temperature (I spent well over a decade in restaurants cooking). They were properly cooked, but because of the oil's temperature they were quite greasy. And the very large ice/drink machine in the dining area sounded like a box of metal pieces being rolled around for 10-15 seconds AFTER it was used, and wasn't exactly whisper quiet while it was being used. Very very loud. Overall it was not an experience I'm in a rush to repeat. I gave 3 stars because service was fast, the employees friendly, and it was clean.”
