“I had to drop my rating because I was extremely disappointed with this McDonald's yesterday. My daughter had surgery in Greenville the day before and she wanted a salad on the way home. She ordered a grilled bacon ranch salad without cheese because she can't have anything fried or any cheese due to the type of surgery she had. We also ordered 2 large fries for her grandfather and me. And 2 large teas and a large half and half for her. We got cold fries, 1 ketchup, 2 napkins, hot tea(the ice was almost melted), and on top of all a salad with fried chicken on it, they had ran out of ranch salad dressing, she can't eat the vinegar based dressings due to the surgery she had, 1 cherry tomato and barely any shredded carrot on it. All of this had not been realized until we had fought traffic in the heat, and gotten a couple of miles away from the store. The fries were in a closed bag so they would not get cold, the tea was in a cup of very little ice(and I was willing to deal with that), but her salad could not be eaten because it was so dry and she had to throw it away by the time we got home because she could not eat the fried chicken(the cashier confirmed 2x grilled) or the bone dry lettuce, spinach and kale. Waste of money and time. Thank you Mickey D's! The window people do not pay for anything given out, if it's hot out put enough ice so the tea won't be hot, give more ketchup and napkins if you have 2 large orders of fries, and for God's sake, check the salad to make sure it's the right thing. Not all customers are local, but sometimes we are frequent fliers because we travel a lot and like to stop at familiar places and we would like to get what we order, in a timely manner. Sorry for the rant but I had to get this out there.”

“This place is one of me and my wife's regular spots! I would suggest trying the Bun dish, I prefer grilled chicken in mine. The dish is light and kind of refreshing being it's not a hot plate. If you want something warm and can feel soothing after a hangover try the Pho soup. The bowl is huge and you shouldn't be disappointed in the the taste.”

“I am a member of their Diner's Club to enjoy a 50% off meal following 3 qualifying visits. I especially enjoy the delicious steaks they serve. They prep them in such a way, and cook them to your requested doneness that makes them more flavorful and excellent tasting that you will savor the taste long after the meal. I had the rib eye cooked medium rare and it was delicious. I also had the potato soup to start the meal. Also delicious. I had the mac and cheese as my side and although it tasted great, it was too large a portion for me to finish completely. My server Jessie, although very busy, kept my drink refilled as needed and checked often enough on my progress and needs. The meal was delicious and although not as inexpensive as some other steak restaurants, is well worth it.”

“This place is pretty fun. The pirate theme is actually pretty subtle, so it's not as goofy as some places with similar themes. The service was great. We never had to wait for anything. We went at around 6PM on a Friday, so it wasn't too busy yet. The food was okay. It wasn't bad by any means, but it wasn't anything to be remembered. The prices were about on par with other restaurants downtown. So they are fine for an occasional night out, but too much for a go to casual dining restaurant. Plenty of drink options, including craft beers. All in all, it's worth a visit to see for yourself.”

“You are paying for the view which is incredible. My wife and I went here for our five year wedding anniversary dinner. The waiter was very nice but he forgot things often, made a couple of mistakes and he was slow. The food was average and the price made me think the food was going to be better. I think there are better places to eat that have better service and food but I can't find a place that has a view like Persimmons does.”

“I never review anything but I just had to review this restaurant. I've eaten sushi at a lot of places over my life but this is the best sushi, hands down. They aren't stingy at all with the fish, the rice is freshly made, and they give you a great amount for such a good price. I rarely get full off of sushi and I am always full after eating here. The service is always kind, which makes the experience even better. I definelty recommend this restaurant to any sushi lovers. And for those who don't like it, their hibachi options are also very good.”

“I love this place. The food is always fresh and delicious. Sometimes the sides come out a bit old, but if you request them to be freshly dropped, they'll do it for you. The managers and employees are all very nice. They truly do seem happy to help. The dining room is always clean except for a few crumbs on a table or a bit of liquid around the soda machine, and the bathrooms are the cleanest in town. It feels like a second home to me.”

The cooks sometimes have difficulty in adhering to the rare, medium-rare, medium, medium-rare, and well done rules of steaks and just send everything out one way. Usually that way is well done. For the most part however the food IS tasty and the atmosphere pleasing. Just don't go on a holiday, such as Mother's Day, and expect to be seated promptly. You'll be waiting a while. ☺????????”
