“When I lived in the area 11+ years ago, this was one of my favorite restaurants. So when I had a chance to come back it was high on my list to visit. It didn't disappoint. I didn't care for the ribs, but enjoyed pretty much everything else including the fried pork chop, baby shrimp, sweet chili chicken, and the fixins. Desert was great too. Enjoyed a tiny bit of banana pudding and peach cobbler. Both were excellent. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a little toasty though. More AC please.”

Add a little horseradish and bbq sauce, try it, or if you remember it, say yes, its back. Had to get a fry and those great onion rings also. Picked up a quarter lb deluxe and shake. “One of the best southern buffets I've been to in a while. The selection is great and the price is outstandingly low. $8 for the lunch buffet. I'd be 30 pounds heavier if I lived nearby. I ate livers, gizzards, fried chicken, collards, rutabagas, green beans, cabbage, Mac n' cheese, okra, cake, and a few other items. It was all delicious. I wish I knew about it sooner. “This place is a hidden charm that takes me back to the days when my grandfather and I had a regular lunch routine of going to similar joints. Not fancy in any sense. Simple and good food made right before your eyes. The ladies who run this joint are awesome, loving folk and can they cook! Lunch is good here. For example, a day ago I had a hamburger steak with onions, creamed potatoes, green beans and a tea for six bucks and change. I've also pretty much eaten everything else on the menu. The fried chicken sandwich and the club sandwich are hard to beat. But the best of all is the breakfast. For five bucks and change you can pretty much fill up before starting the day. The biscuits and gravy is really good and so is the steak biscuit with home fries. The daily breakfast and lunch specials change each day on a regular schedule. A lot of good folk come here and after a while everyone knows each other. Give it try if you find yourself driving by.”

“This place has potential but my first night there I was not impressed. We went to see 3rd Degree (an awesome local band) and have some drinks. First, what we liked. For the area it is a larger place with a huge outdoor (under cover) space. The inside has booths, tables and bar seating at two bars. Plenty of parking. Mostly what we didn't like was due to them being understaffed. There was easily 100 people inside and I think only saw 1 bar tender, 1 waitress and a guy possibly working the door and grabbing empty bottles. They were all friendly and you could tell doing their best to handle it all, but it took forever to get drinks and food. A couple more employees that night would have doubled their profits. We will be back to see if it was a fluke.”
