“This is an older Hardee's and definitely needs to be kept a whole lot cleaner. The service was fast and the senior citizens that gather here for breakfast with friends is a great reason to go here. But please clean the inside of the place up. It really needs it”

“We decided to give them a try for lunch and it was outstanding. I had the buffalo turkey wrap with fried okra and kids the grilled cheese with seasoned fries. All enjoyed the food. The establishment is a bit small for the crowd there. The place was busy, but not too packed for lunch. Very friendly staff. VERY. large sandwich selection. Everything here is fresh well prepared. The fried okra is a must. I am not a huge fan of turkey or even sandwiches, but this place is the exception --- all of their sandwiches are great and I think they have the best fried okra of anywhere.”

“Stopped here for dinner on a road trip with my son. Was fairly late and it's possible that they stayed open a bit after close to accommodate us, but they never mentioned it at all. We talked with the family that owned the place and they were just the nicest, sweetest people you'll ever meet! Food was fantastic as well. If I'm ever back in the area I'm definitely going back.”

“The food was great. We had Sunday brunch. Good amount of options. Fix your own Bloody Mary was delicious. Lots of pickled options for your drink each was amazing especially green beans and Bread & Butter pickles. We sat at the bar Tony the bartender was also our waiter and he did a great job. We were asked by several waitstaff how everything was and could they get us anything else. I had the Mac&Cheese and my husband had chicken and waffle. Came fresh and flavorful and large portions. Will go back soon to try many of the other things that also looked amazing.”

“Authentic wonderful lamb! Best kebabs, pita, haydari. We have been averaging once a week or two. It is great, tasty, and fresh! Expanded menu in the new place, right around the corner. A little more expensive. Have to pay for the wonderful bread now. Great food as always”

“Super friendly staff and amazing food. Can be a little pricey but for the atmosphere, quality of food, and excellent service, it's at a value well above the price. Nice to see an authentic Turkish restaurant especially in a fine dining atmosphere.”

“Food was okay, nothing special. Beer was also okay. Best part was Johnathan our server. Place was packed and he noticed we weren’t getting food/drinks and came over and took awesome care of us. Cute little location and cozy vibes. I’d say check it out.”

“Decent food for the price. Service is friendly. Not the best quality and a little weird when it turns into a night club. The pizza is good for the price. Good selection of food and drinks”

“I love the friendly service and personality and atmosphere of Rude Awakening. You can sit inside, out front on the sidewalk or in the courtyard for a more intimate feel. This is my favorite local coffee house. ???? Oh, I forgot to mention the great coffee and other treats!”

“Really enjoyed my lunch here. It is an old-fashioned family-run barbecue slash lunch place. Which I personally think it's a very good thing. I found the portions for what I ordered were very large the barbecue was tasty the slaw was good the bun was good and the french fries were good. When I go back I'm going to try the fried chicken plate which look excellent. The staff was friendly the food came out super quick. If you're looking for a trendy place this is not it if you're looking for place that has good barbecue and you don't care if the building looks like it was built in the 1960s then this is the place for you”

“Very convenient in the downtown area with free parking! Order was taken quickly and food was ready as I walked in the door. And they have a military discount! The two halves of the sandwich were individually wrapped which is great as it is great for sharing! Will be back again”

“My grandmother is 97 years old. She's second generation Italian. Sicilian. My grandfather was also second gen Italian. From Naples. (As you may guess from my Irish last name.. This is on my mothers side). You can imagine the home made food I would have when visiting them. Seafood cooked to perfection, the right hint of flavor in the sauces to accent and not over power the rest of the food. You can almost taste it right? No? Tell you what... go to Antonella's. And trust me when I say THAT is what it tastes like. You can't get more real than this. I haven't had Italian food this good since my grandfather passed away in '93.”

“Transition from restaurant to to club scene on Saturday night is a mess. Servers don't want to pay for attention to you. On the other hand, this place has wonderful decor. I'd say their food is great, but the servers didn't offer service for food when we sat down. Maybe there should be a better food service policy stated?”

“The hot dog was huge! I had no clue! It was good too! The staff was ok, but there was a point where I couldn't get their attention. The experience was beautiful because they allowed the poets to use their space to get free!”

“Cat fish and shrimp lunch special with slaw. I have been a customer for the last 18 years. The food is always super fresh, fries are out of the fryer, same with the hush puppies. Tons of freshly made well seasoned food, great taste, great fast service at incredibly reasonable prices. Love it! Will definitely come back.”

“Delightful little spot with a decent atmosphere. I was there during a lunch break and was greeted promptly and served in under half an hour. A tasty Cubano sandwich and a small draft later and I was completely satisfied. Not a big place and could definitely get crowded easily. A decent outdoor area out back can seat more.”

“The food was great, i went yesterday and had the steak, rice, yams and a sweet tea for a very fair price. And today i went back and got fried pork chop, red beans and rice, with a lemonade and the meal was amazing! Great for a quick lunch, short wait time and friendly staff.”

“Utterly delicious. I first came to Fayetteville 25 years ago and had my first taste of NC BBQ and was instantly hooked. Fowler's is the real deal with smoke and sauce flavor profiles on point. I had the pulled pork with slaw and my wife had Brisket Caesar salad. The pulled pork was juicy, smoky (mouth watering uncontrollably now) and delicious. The brisket was as delicious and not dried out like most places. I also ordered fries (fresh cut) but realized too late they have smoked potato salad. All in all the best BBQ in town and many happy returns will be forthcoming. Thank you Fowler's for the best in southern cuisine.”

“Given that this is the closest location to me, I go out of convenience. However, after today, that will likely change. I've tried giving this location multiple chances. The staff are more often than not, off putting and my orders have been inconsistent at best. I get that the goal is for the company to turn a profit. With that said, I'd like to get what I'm paying for. When asked for light ice, I was simply given less product in conjunction with less ice (shown in picture). I might as well have been given a medium drink instead of a large. Also, as others have stated, the only consistent thing here is having to wait.”

“Restaurant was clean and the staff was very nice. I don't really know what to recommend, they have quite a few options that might make your day. They also have handicapped parking and restrooms which could be helpful for some. I enjoyed my stay.”

“Classic diner from days gone by. Food cooked to order, just like your momma never made. Homemade ranch dressing is great on anything and the desserts are out of this world. You won't be disappointed!”
