“Mezeh was a great find after unpacking for a few hours and shopping for apartment stuff afterwards. I was starving and wanting something healthy to fill this growling stomach of mine and Mezeh called me. From start to finish it was a great experience. I had no idea what I was walking into though as I was told I could pick a bowl or pita pocket and pick whatever toppings I wanted. I decided to go with a bowl with spinach on the bottom and it took off from there.. Similar to other reviews I am not not sure what I made, but it tasted amazing! I love that they have unlimited toppings, sauces, and bases. It was so great! Because they just opened they had a great special going--buy a drink and the bowl was just $5. I took advantage of that and their amazing teas. One of the crew showed me that they had sample cups, so I went a little crazy! My favorite tea was the kale, spinach, and apple. Refreshing and hardy at the same time. Definitely will be back!”

“Amazing food. Fresh chips, salsa, and bean dip! Service is amazing, never had an empty drink. Had the sizzling enchiladas and they are the best so far that I have had. Their cheese that they use is so fresh and flavorful. This TOPS all Mexican restaurants in Fayetteville/Spring Lake area including El Cazador, Salsa and Beer, and Mi Casita restaurants. They are going above and beyond to beat out all the competition. Just need more marketing so people can find out about this place since it's new. This will definitely be my new Mexican Restaurant that I go to.”

“Went here for dinner on Friday night. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Service was fast and professional. The Philly Cheesesteak, onion rings and fried green tomatoes were very good. Did wonder why the fried green tomatoes did not come with the roasted red pepper sauce. The fried fish could have been a little crispier. Will definitely be back to try other items. Many staff members were not wearing face masks and it did not appear that they were seating customers 6 feet apart.”

“After hearing amazing things about Uptown’s Chicken and Waffles, I decided to give them a try. I broke this review down into specific categories. Food: I had “The Skinny” which was tender and full of flavor. The Mac and Cheese was WONDERFUL! I highly recommend it. The collards were not my favorite at all. They were bitter and somewhat greasy tasting. My mother had “Moore Fried Chicken”. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was seasoned perfectly! She had the same sides as I did and agreed with me that the Mac and cheese was the best! Atmosphere: Warm, inviting, and cozy! I believe they are taking social distancing seriously and I appreciate the extra effort. Service: This was the one area that I felt needs improvement. Our waitress was also the bartender so she had to try to balance several tables plus any bar guests. She did great trying to help, but it’s obviously too much for any one person. There were 3 other staff members working at the front; hostess, cashier for to go, and no clue the other young lady’s position. I felt they could have helped with tables in those hectic moments. It took our waitress 25 minutes to get our payment because several customers came to the bar. All the while the 3 up front were dancing, on the phone, talking, etc. The man that I believe was a manager was seated near the pool table on a laptop with headphones on. He didn’t seem attentive and I think the other 3 staff members could have been used more appropriately if he would have been focused on the guests that were seated. Overall, the food is worth a trip! I think the crew position plan should be revised to accommodate guests and help the staff not be so overworked.”

“I've been here twice now and the staff was beyond wonderful each time. Very helpful with menu options and customer service in general. Food is delicious but beware, you'll walk out stuffed. The potatoes o Bryen was some of the best amd most flavorful that I've ever had. Can't wait to go back to have them again.”
