“This place is so much fun! We went as the hurricane Ian was subsiding and they were still have their hurricane party! Seems like there is an event almost every weekend! The drinks were good and priced well and the bartenders were helpful, friendly, and efficient! We had so much fun playing all the different games! We did have to wait for a few but that's to be expected on a weekend. They have machines to buy tokens which accept cash or card (4 tokens for a dollar and most games cost 2-4 tokens). I would love to go back when there pizza kitchen and their patio is open (unfortunately because of the hurricane it was closed)! They don't have a parking lot there but there is one down the block in either direction!”

“Needed a bathroom break and gas on our road trip for my wife's 40th birthday celebration along with a group of friends. Everyone else used the bathroom and made purchases while I filled up the Yukon XL then I used the bathroom. Nice sized store with good layout and clean bathrooms.”

“Nice place, good product. The Glass Jug, beer lab is a nice place, plenty of space to have nice moments. They have three zones: In front, some tables with roofs zone; inside, with board games and, the patio, a zone plenty of tables, nice paintings, just to enjoy the weather outdoors. The beer is really nice. I tried the Hunting Wabbits (Tested like carrot cake, with cinnamon some spices, delicious perfect for fall) and the Cranberry Cinnamon (Gose, drier, delicious). The attention is really nice, the staff are really connoisseur of the product they can guide you in the experience. This place is a must-go in your North Carolina beer culture.”

“This new Mexican Street Taco and Burrito join us awesome! My wife and I have been anticipating their opening for months. While the food was amazing, especially my El Matador Burrito, they've still got to dial in their processes a bit. Our Takeout order took 30+ minutes for example. We'll let that go for now because they've only been open for 2 days and the staff still hasn't gotten into the rhythm of things yet.”

“The Pho soup here is delicious! The bubble tea is always great. There is a bit of a language barrier but they have always managed to get my order correct. The staff is efficient, but do not greet people in the way most restaurants do, but I chalk it up to a different culture experience.I usually get take out so the service isn't a problem for me. The food is so good I come back anyway.”

“The food was great but the service was better! Our server, Tish if I remember correctly, was super friendly and efficient. She answered out questions quickly and made suggestions when asked. She was terrific! The shrimp & grits was phenomenal, as were the chicken and waffles. The salmon cakes were also delicious. The portion sizes were very generous. We took our leftovers home and had them for breakfast the following day, and the food was great even then. I got unsweetened tea and it was easily the best I've had in North Carolina. I can't wait to go back!”

“Absolutely delicious! We had this team cater our holiday party and everyone loved the food, we even had some dietary restrictions that were able to be met with complete ease. A great catering experience and will likely ask for their help again.”

“Came here for dinner with friends. I was surprised that it was order at the counter vs seated service. There was a good variety on the menu and also specials but we were also informed that the specials were not yet ready (630 on a Friday evening) we tried the smash app, fried tomato plate, brisket and gumbo. The other thing is that none of our meals came out together. I appreciate the food coming out hot but would recommend setting that expectation when ordering. We will likely be back to try again for dinner and explore the menu a bit more.”

“Great Tuesday afternoon experience. Black owned, i met the owner, he was so pleasant. Drinks were strong, customer service was great, food was great (I got the shrimp rasta pasta). They serviced hookah in the early afternoon. Music was great (they played 70s and 80s music which is good to me for a Tuesday afternoon). I was able to seat outside and watch the cars go by. Great location, safe parking in the back. I felt comfy in my own space here. I'm definitely returning.”

“Truly enjoyed my travels and visiting Downtown Durham and the new Tea Bar Cafe in the Hayti Heritage District. Enjoyed the Morning Melt breakfast sandwich with creamy grits, and coffee. Food cooked well with patience and love, and very tasty and filling! Owner greeted customers with a smile and was very sweet. Looking forward to visiting again soon.”

“Mediocre at best, unfortunately. Ginger salad dressing is the strangest I've ever eaten, neither my husband or I could get ourselves to eat it. Rest of the food was okay but not worth the price. I found the food to be very pricey for what you get. They definitely struggled with staffing, only two people front of house on a Friday night. Our server was fairly attentive but, for the price we are paying for the food, I just expected more.”
