Even with the recent additional traffic since the Guess Road location is temporarily closed... they've made it work! I do look forward to bringing the order-ahead option back once it's manageable. The drive thru line was long so I went inside - and I was impressed with their practices for social distancing for inside ordering.”

“I have been going here pretty frequently lately because they have a drive through. They are always very friendly and they have always gotten my order correct. We have tried the catfish, seasoned rice, Cajun green beans, fresh cut fries, hush puppies, chicken quesadilla, beef quesadilla, beef taco, chicken wings, chicken sandwich, and the burger and it was all amazing and seasoned to perfection!!!! I love fish and am really picky about how I like it to be seasoned and this was perfect! I didn’t have to add anything to it! Even after going back multiple times, the food is just as good as the first time we went. The customer service is excellent. Just go! You won’t be disappointed.”

We went a few weeks ago and it was a little rough but great service and great food. Parking is back behind the building in the shopping center lot on the side. “Absolutely delicious place. The pupusas come in Bean and cheese and pork and cheese. They top it with a spicy cabbage blend and your choice of not spicy or spicy salsa. The crew was a group of young people likely teenagers, and their coordinator was likely in her early twenties. It would seem like a lot of unnecessary people in the truck. The food is delicious but the service is extremely slow. Given the number of people that were in that truck about five I would have expected that it should have taken less than 15 minutes for a single pupusa to be cooked. But alas you would be wrong. Well worth a try but not if you're in a hurry. The other nice thing is they support a great mission. The proceeds from the sales goes towards providing scholarships for undocumented students.”

Honestly, outside of some subtle changes, like curly fries, it really is the same great place. The burger is amazing. I really can’t tell a difference. Dogs are still great too. I was warmly welcomed by the team who took me through the menu selections. I had a beef burrito, the salsas were fresh, the beef was tender and the red chilli sauce was one of the best I have ever had! To top it all off, I was delighted when they explained that my burrito had donated a meal to someone in need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

With that in mind, RISE was the best spicy chicken biscuit I have ever consumed. I took and apple fritter along with the biscuit and my only observation regarding that is that it could have been warmer.....no biggie.
