“This quiet new restaurant snuck up on me and was here for several months before I knew they had joined Durham. An amazing tasting Pizza. The dough is is a major part of that good taste. The owner is open and friendly. Thank you for doing pizza right. This is a lunch time must have dinner too. Looking forward to trying the Garlic knots I saw the other night this is the spot that you come out looking like a hero when you bring your family and friends from out of town. There is plenty of space for large groups with private little booths sprinkled throughout. Thank you for helping Durham stay great.”

“Very good. A nice selection of American BBQ. The fried Okra was perfect. The brisket melted in my mouth. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. And, all in an atmosphere where we could talk and be heard. A great beer selection too. I will go back.”

“I love the wings. So far they are the best I have had in the triangle....when they are cooked right. It is hit or miss. When they are on point, the wings are life changing. The place is a bit run down, but I prefer this type of bar. I go once a week and the 5 star rating is for two reasons; Great wings and never crowded.”

“If you get the pitcher of margarita it's really good and it actually has a decent amount of liquor in it. I recommend the blue one. The food is ????????.”

“Seems very authentic. My first time having Ethiopian so take that for what it is. Menu very enticing. Everything looks good. The "bread" is awkward. Would recommend offering an alternative because it is unappealing and I heard other tables comment the same. Overall definitely recommend.”

“Excellent service, and even better food! I started with the Brussels sprouts that were out of this world! And for my entree I got the fish and chips. The batter was crispy and delicious. Fresh cut fries that were also delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out!”

“Delicious classic Italian American food with generous portions. The place fills a nice gap for us since The Boot closed. We had some great classic Italian American favorites - the nice red sauces, lasagnas, calamari. Everything was cooked to perfection.”

“My husband and I had a lovely getaway for his birthday at the Arrowhead Inn. The home is beautifully maintained, with such rich and interesting history! I enjoyed reading about the family reunion at Arrowhead of descendents of the slaves that once worked this plantation. We enjoyed wine by the fire in the downstairs keeping room and a nice fire in our room (the Lipscomb) as well. We walked the grounds - gorgeous and well maintained. The bathroom in the Lipscomb is fantastic with a large tub and steam shower. The steam was one of the main draws for me - love it!”

“The food here is delicious. Fresh and tasty! At one point during the afternoon buffet, I realized I had goat, fish, and chicken all on my plate at the same time, and I thought to myself, wow, I'm eating a zoo!! The decor in the restaurant is exactly what I look for in an Indian place... the music and beer choices, too. A great addition to the Durham food scene. Can't wait to go back!”

“My experience at this Jersey Mike’s location was great! This was my first time here and I was impressed by the hospitality, cleanliness and overall service. The employees all greeted me when I entered the establishment. I’m very indecisive and the employee recommended his favorite sub, the club sub (#8 I believe). The sandwich was delicious. I will definitely make this location my Jersey Mike’s. But shame on you Jersey Mike’s for having those big cookies by the register, I just had to get one and it didn’t disappoint. Yum!!!”

“I ordered on the DD app a drink then I show up and they aren’t even open a little after 7 am on a Monday. The gas station attendant tells me they are not open. I lost money and no coffee. I don’t understand why they even let you order if they are closed. The next morning I drive by around 7 am and they are open. I don’t understand why they aren’t consistent with their hours. Sounds like they need to just convert to a self serve Dunkin Donuts.”

“I’ve only gone to Clean Juice a couple of times. I really like their cold pressed juices. Today I decided to try out one of their bowls and got their Popeye Bowl. It was a spinach salad with quinoa, eggs, a avocado, feta, strawberries and walnuts. It was quite yummy!”

“I ate here four times in the past week as I was on campus for intensive classes. The grilled cheese with bacon was really good. The breakfast sandwiches (I had bacon, egg, and cheese on asiago one day and another on sesame another day) were really good. Plenty of seating. The employees were nice and helpful.”

“Whoa. Looking for an incredible Korean BBQ place? You've just found it. Depending on when you show up, it might be hard to find a table, but waiting in line to order is totally worth it. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly. And the beer wall is a great finishing touch. You won't be disappointed.”

“I'm giving this place 3 stars. I really want to give it 1 star right now b/c of the person behind the counter right now. Sunday 5/12 at 4 pm.....A smile goes a long way, and the employee working behind the counter not only barked out questions about what I wanted, he never once looked me in the face, never once smiled and could not hide the disgust on his face. If you peeps want to be in customer service, you should at least PRETEND you like everyone.”

“We over ordered and that turned out to be a great idea. Catfish Dinner - awesome. Well battered and flaky. Comes with 2 sides and you get your money's worth on the sides. Who doesn't love fried okra?! Flounder sandwich - awesome. Love the bread they use for the sandwich. Cheeseburger - actually not bad for what it is. It's pretty cheap, but it's well dressed. I enjoyed it. A side of popcorn shrimp was a great idea. They're fantastic. Mac and Cheese - not my style, but my wife said it was delicious. Chicken tenders - HUGE all white meat chicken cutlets dunked in their sensational batter and fried perfectly. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be coming back for more fish & chicken!”

“I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. The sub of my choice (The Engineer) has always been good eating. But today, I went back to the restaurant after what was already a really nice experience the last time. On my last visit, the employees that helped me were so genuinely friendly and courteous. The person who took my order (Aliyah) was on her first day (I could tell), but you would have thought she was trained very well. She asked me about all of the extras with a smile the entire time. Another employee, (V) who recognized me from previous visits struck up a conversation and when I stepped outside, another employee (Kayla) actually brought my sandwich outside to me. So nice!!! So, today when I came in, 2 of the employees remembered me by my name. AWESOME!!! Keep up these little things and your sure to be successful. Thank You Firehouse Staff!!!”
