No, seriously, who takes the time to gently mix my drink in a professional way to bring out the unique flavors and ingredient qualities? THEY DO. “So firstly don't come here if you haven't checked out the menu first. Their food does have sugar sprinkled over a lot of their options, please know this up front. Although we weren't expecting it, we had an open mind and ended up liking everything we had. I liked the garlic soy chicken wings. The chicken wings did not have sugar. The snow fries were crispy and covered with powered cheese and what seemed like powdered sugar. The K Dog classic half and half was good, but next we may just order the classic mozza. It did have sugar sprinkled over it. I asked for the spicy mayo drizzle. Our friend ordered the avocado egg toast. It looked really good.”

As a vegetarian I typically only have a few things to choose from when it comes to eating out, but Salem Kitchen had sooo many options to choose from that I could take home and bake! The young woman helping me at the counter was an absolute GEM- I wish I had gotten her name (she wears glasses and has a Studio Ghibli tattoo like me!) I let her know I was a vegetarian and she showed me an entire section of their menu that was meat free! There are so many sides and desserts as well that looked absolutely delicious. I’m currently trying the baked spaghetti and it tastes like home! Thank y’all so much for your service! I’ll be back very soon!”

“I have ordered from here about 5 or 6 times now as I waited to make my review and not base it off 1 visit . I have enjoyed the food , I have gotten the pulled pork and it has a great Smokey flavor as well as their bbq slaw , okra , street corn , potato wedges , green beans all have been great . You get a good portion of food for what you pay for which is even better. It's a must try, you won't regret it !”

“The BIG GULP sign caught my attention! Purchased gas at the tank with no problem. Im not sure what I was expecting when I walked into the store but I was pleasently surprised. The store is well lite, neat and clean. Everything I viewed was stocked and neatly shelved. The fountain drink area was clean, stocked and non sticky. The cashier was nice and courteous. The owner even showed us around the restaurant, as for the prices, my dad has been here before the new management came, and he’s stated that the prices has gone down, to us the price was very reasonable.
