“I heard they recently opened and the reel of the food that I saw on IG looked really good. The food was very delicious and the value is great for how much food you get. I got entree #2 with low mein and bourbon chicken + orange chicken. Everything was so tasty and filling. My order was taken quickly, and they were in the lunch rush when I went around 12:30. The service was good. I know they are adjusting, but please go and try them out! The food is good and the value is worth it! Would eat again 10/10”

“This place was fantastic!! I’ve been following them on Instagram for a while, and finally found myself in Winston at the right time to go! I got their jerk chicken with rice and peas, and stir fried veg which was all amazing! They also recommended their beef patty, which was also delicious! Don, who was running the food truck was great! Can’t wait to go back again - the oxtails are next for me!”

“I just found “Busy as a Bee” and bought quite a few things to try. We are a “busy” household of five (two boys in college sometimes home on weekends) and a VERY hungry 17 year old boy still in high school. We own a small business, still busy with sports and a family farm. We LOVE good food but don’t usually have the time to cook, sit down together and eat. Perfect solution! EVERYTHING I’ve bought so far has been a 10/10. There’s no other way we could eat delicious, good quality food at home at such an economical price- so easily. From salads to snacks (if you call an entire casserole dish of ham sliders a snack and they do in this house) to gourmet entrees for two- Brooke has it all. I also love the trinkets and gifts easily picked up. We are hooked and I will be a weekly shopper as there’s always new stuff to try. Drop by, buy, enjoy. You’ll be happy you did!”

“I recently picked food and was impressed with the quality of the food. I ordered the carne asada entree, which was a generous portion size and could easily feed three people. The tortillas that accompanied the dish were handmade and delicious, which is a rarity among Latin restaurants in the area. The chicken and fajita steak were both seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for high-quality and authentic Latin cuisine. This will be my Monday Dinner spot for sure.”

“Went here for a volunteer meeting for the Hispanic League. It was a little hard to find but it is truly a hidden gem. Located inside an old renovated colonial house it is very warm, welcoming and makes you feel at home. There is ample comfortable seating inside and also outside with a fire pit. Staff is friendly and welcoming. You place and pay for your order and they bring it to your table. They have hot & cold selection of coffees, teas, & cold drinks. Savory selection of crepes for every taste, and pastries to die for. Since I had already eaten, I got an iced coffee that was truly fresh and refreshing, along with a Tiramisu that was soft and velvety and took me to Italy! Perfect place for a quick bite, to catch up with friends, work on your computer or for meetings. They are also available for private events as we saw a small celebration going on. Highly recommended this place!”

It is centrally located and is a great place to find food to tide you over, rest a bit, and help replenish your energy as you explore the Old Salem Museums and Gardens. “This quaint little dinner is a fantastic new addition to Winston-Salem. Almost everything is homemade- coleslaw, chili, pulled pork, fried chicken, you name it! They have great daily specials that include the sides and drink (which is a steal) and the owner and his wife are always around to check in with you about your food and your experience. I also think that they have BY FAR the best pancakes in all of Winston-Salem, and their breakfast prices (rather, all their prices) are great for anyone's budget. They have free wifi, and make a really tasty sweet tea too. My classmates and I go there now several times a week because there is nothing like it in the area, and it is like having dinner at home to a degree. I'd recommend this to anyone! They also have convenient parking too.”
