“My husband and I recently tried this place. We just picked up something to go. We ordered the apple butter chicken. It was absolutely delicious. It came with delicious pasta, and a large salad. Everything was made from scratch, and we cannot wait to return for a dine-in experience next weekend. I highly recommend this place! Yum!!!”

“Absolutely surprised my wife and I by how good this BBQ is! We expected over priced low quality touristy trap food! BUT LET ME TELL YOU THAT IS NOT THE CASE! Brisket great! Pulled pork great! BUT THOSE GREENS ARE THE TRUTH!! AMEN THANK YA LAWD JESUS! I don’t care how long your grandmother been making greens cause it ain’t long enough!! These greens are spicy, meaty, greeny, savory, these greens are the AWAKENING! My wife doesn’t like greens but today she saw the light! She’s now a believer! If you google places to eat in Maggie Valley, there shouldn’t be no other place that pops up besides Butts By The Creek! This is what bbq dreams are made of! Kick rocks Gordon Ramsay!”

“Was so excited a brewery finally opened up in our town of Maggie Valley after visiting for over a decade. We found 2 beers we liked and enjoyed the amazing and spacious patio overlooking the creek. Got one of their big pretzels and dove into almost all the tacos on the menu. Only thing holding this place back from 5 stars were the tacos. They were all a bit too spicy to successfully pair with the high(er) alcohol beers (spice + high alc = a very hot palate). They also all needed a bit more salt. We literally took the large salt that had fallen off our pretzel and seasoned our tacos, and it made a big improvement. Oh! And service was 100%. Friendly, prompt. They did a great job hiring their staff for sure, especially when the place is so new.”

“We arrived in Maggie Valley late and looked for a place to have dinner, most places closed early on Sunday night and after being turned away by one place we landed at Legends which happened to benefit us. What a fun and friendly place. The owner was working the bar and recommended some of the craft brews which were great, the food was top notch and the menu had lots of selections. We travel a lot and we are always happy to find a locals place where you get to know so many people from locals to visitors like us. Had a great time, full belly and know where to stop next time we are in town.”

“Excellent food and staff. Health rating posted was 100% - I have never seen that before in any restaurant. My daughter in law has a meat & dairy allergy caused by a tick bite that gave her Alpha Gal. She has to be very careful about food choices if she wants to live. The young man that made our food on Memorial Day was so gracious and took good care of her. For those who know anyone with Alpha Gal or any meat/dairy allergy please recommend Subway to them - they will go out of their way to serve a safe meal.”

“The all you can eat breakfast was a pleasant surprise for a low price. The biscuits where fresh and made from scratch. Bacon was excellent and thick cut. Eggs where freshly cooked. Grits hit the mark not watery or lumpy. The sausage gravy was mild and good flavor. The sausage patties had great flavor and not over spiced. The waitress was attentive but not intruding.”

“We always show up before the crowd, sometimes just after opening. But we always get great service. Yesterday, I had the best Long Island Iced tea on this side of the western hemisphere. The menu could be improved with a better description of how the salads are crafted. Great location and good atmosphere. If you're in Maggie Valley, don't hesitate to stop by here.”

“The food is delicious and we will be making this a "must do" every time we are in town! In town again and had to make cafe Italiano a destination point. Once again the food and the service were excellent. Husband and I had the tour of Italy and it was awesome from start (minestrone, salad, and bread) to the main course entrees. Ate till we were stuffed and had plenty to take home. Love this great little eatery. Best seafood fettuccine I have ever eaten!”

“Great food, quality service and old fashioned hospitality! The owner tithes ten percent of your bill to the local Christian Church of your choosing! The owner cares as much or more about family and Love than profit! He hires to help the community, so be patient with the staff as your server may very well be the cutest granny in Maggie Valley!”

“Great little spot for lunch in Maggie Valley. Had the fried chicken, 2 sides (corn on the cob and mac and cheese). I also stole a couple of my wife's onion rings. All the fried food was light, crispy and tasty. My son liked the mac and cheese. I don't usually order fried chicken at restaurants, but it was listed as a specialty of theirs, so I tried it... and it was delicious! The service was prompt and friendly. The facility was clean. My only criticisms would be that the corn on the cob was lukewarm when it arrived at the table (still good though), and the AC was blowing from vents under the table directly on our legs. But those are small nit-picks and did not impact our enjoyment of Carver's. I would recommend a visit if you are in the area looking for a quick and delicious lunch.”

“So good! We got multiple recommendations to come here. We finally did, and weren't disappointed. Multiple people asked if it was our first time here and gave us recommendations, and told us it was worth the wait (there was a line). It really was worth it, and the wait wasn't that bad. Great fast and friendly service. Even the other customers are really friendly.”
