Also got the Bread Pudding to go for dessert and I could not have been more pleased. The food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back again!”

“This place is such a welcomed addition to Lake J and all of Haywood County. Nobody else is doing anything like this and I'm thrilled to live so close by! “Went here for gas and McDonald's...I think there was only 2 people working drive thru front counter and making food. They were hustling and I actually felt bad for them and wanted to help out as I work retail myself. Hard, hard workers they need a raise. It did take a while but they were working their butts off and it was clean and food was hot and exactly what we ordered. The minus one star if for owners who probably don't pay these workers enough for making it work on a skeleton crew.”

“The Grateful Table is the small town hidden gem that tourists search for and locals hope for! Absolutely amazing food and experience. I am extremely health conscious and love to support locals; this is what brought me here. The food and staff are what are going to make me a regular. I truly cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, variety on the menu, and quality of the food. Thus far I have tried The Grateful Summer Salad and Paper Town (meatloaf sandwich). The salad is the best salad I've ever had and the sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever had. This is a must visit restaurant and store!”

“I no longer golf due to disability’s. When we went on Golf Trips with friends this was the place we always made a point of staying for several days and playing golf. I absolutely loved playing golf on this course. It was always in good shape and the scenery around the course was so enjoyable. I loved looking on the hills and seeing the cows grazing on the hillside. It reminded me of a country calendar picture. My husband and I would come on our own for a quick 3 day trip every once in awhile also. We have since moved to Charlotte NC but then we would make the drive from Miami Fl. I always found myself being taken back in time when we stayed at this charming resort.”

“Dough Boys Pizza is the bomb. You only need “one bite” to know what’s popping off in your mouth. Fresh ingredients, sauce that you can tell is made home made and literally the best mozzarella cheese I’ve ever had. The crust has the right amount of flop and better yet a good crunch. The perfect bite away pizza. My personal favorite is add sundries tomatoes , bacon and jalapeños. Beat pizza in town.”

“The food is good. Nothing amazing but competently made and fairly priced. Pretty quick too. Beer is above average. Out of several things I wanted but that's a good sign. Heavy rotation. Really cool space both inside and out. Service is a weak point. Two people running the entire floor wasn't covering it on a Tuesday afternoon. The bartender was constantly behind. The food runner was fast but someone could have had her pouring beers for the bartender in between table runs. Would have changed the whole flow. These are beer people, not restaurant people. Just a heads up. But definitely worth the visit. Just don't expect a seamless experience.”

BUT THOSE GREENS ARE THE TRUTH!! AMEN THANK YA LAWD JESUS! I don’t care how long your grandmother been making greens cause it ain’t long enough!! These greens are spicy, meaty, greeny, savory, these greens are the AWAKENING! My wife doesn’t like greens but today she saw the light! She’s now a believer! If you google places to eat in Maggie Valley, there shouldn’t be no other place that pops up besides Butts By The Creek! This is what bbq dreams are made of! Kick rocks Gordon Ramsay!”
