“My husband and I had lunch here today. I was impressed at being greeted with a smiling young lady who showed us to a table. Husband had a fantastic cheeseburger. It was perfectly cooked and he says it tasted even better than it looked. I had the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. It was wonderful. The dressing was perfectly tossed in... not to much and not to little. I love the homemade croutons too. I really liked the decor in the building. There was always something to fun to look at on the wall. There's a great vibe here and I know when we travel back through this area we will make it a point to stop by again.”

A wine list to die for and don't forget to ask about the new 'Critics' Choice' wine list, you won't be disappointed. A great place for the family or just to hang out and catch up with a few friends. “The food is good. But that's about where it stops. When I came in the other day, I was short on time but I patiently waited for several minutes until someone came to the register. I counted 6, yes SIX employees in the back. The guy who took my order was out of it. I don't want to speculate, but I think he may have a learning disability or something. He stared off into space and when I asked him questions, he couldn't answer. They prepared my order very quickly, I'll give them that. But thank goodness I checked my bag before I left the counter because you guys forgot part of my order.”

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in town (Papa's and Beer is supposed to be coming soon, though) for these reasons: Food is ALWAYS delicious. So often with cheap Mexican joints flavor goes by the wayside. The food here is seasoned and spiced with intention and ingredients seem fresh (veggies). Enchiladas Rancheras is the bomb. Price is low. More expensive than fast food, but still a cheap meal with plenty of serving. The place looks clean and well cared for. We're far from picky and will eat at some seedy places for an "authentic" experience or whatever but its nice to have a go to for a pleasant dinner. Zero fancy but comfortable. Service is usually fine. The last time we were there it was off. Food coming out was slow and little attention was paid; I'm not sure if we got our water refilled. I'm reading what I've written and it seems far from a glowing review so...Great place for good Mexican...how's that?”

“Great service by our server tonight. She was a very sweet lady. She made sure we had what we needed. Not sure of her name. We were the family with three adults and the little redheaded child and the older brown headed child. I wish I'd gotten her name so we could praise her by name, the only thing I could think to do was just described me and my family, that way if she remembers us the owners can give her the praise that she deserves. I had the 16 oz margarita and it was great. The food my family had was fantastic. Way better than the other Mexican restaurants in the area. The food was all fresh and you could taste it was made with fresh ingredients and cooked fresh to order. Nothing sitting under heat lamps. Great service. We were very impressed with our experience.”

“Our party of 6 was seated immediately upon our arrival. We ordered 4 appetizer well before we ordered our lunch. POSITIVE- Food was delicious and our waitress was kind, patient and efficient. We were comfortable and service was great. NEGATIVE- Our appetizers were served right before our lunch was served to us. We ordered appetizers to enjoy before being served our meals. Not sure. We try not to go when we are starving. Nice atmosphere and always clean. The chairs feel like they may break though. My son who is 13 had a chair top come apart when we sat down. I heard a lady complain that she was pinched by one of the chairs while we were there also. If they upgrade or replace the chairs and fix the wait on the pizzas, I'd upgrade this to 5 stars.”

“This is a great find in our area, the food and prices are good and we got our food quickly. Our sushi was amazing and made this a go-to place when we want sushi. The hibachi dish with chicken and broccoli was very good, fresh and perfectly cooked. The broccoli was a bit lower in temperature than my liking, but still so crisp and fresh that this is easily overlooked. The white sauce was a bit watered down when we visited, but just meant using a bit more than I usually would. Overall this is a the place we go and recommend to friends who want to get sushi or other Asian food in the Waynesville area.”

“I had an incident last night at another location and had called this store to try and get a managers name for the store I originally visited. When I explained what had happened to Carla Matthews, she profusely apologized and invited me to Canton to pick up my pizzas from her. She is a manager that was training another young lady how to handle a situation like mine. She taught her to be friendly, apologetic, and truly treated me like family. I left with 2 hot and delicious pizzas. I know she contacted the manager at the other location because I got a phone call from her before 10:30 this morning. Carla is running a restaurant that you want to go back to. She is a beautiful, smiling face that makes you feel welcomed. I will continue to order my pizza from Carla’s Canton location. I can’t Thank her enough for being an outstanding manager!”

“This happened months ago, but, my family and I noticed a kitchen help (older man) eating his lunch before rush hour, in one of the booths by the bathroom... He started digging in his nose, lol. It was so freaking gross cause he was really into it, we haven't been back there since. Owner and wait staff are great, and I always thought the food was good. But that kinda grossed me and my family out.”
