“Great service and delicious food. My husband and I came here for a nice evening dinner. We sat inside next to the fireplace and it was the perfect atmosphere for a nice romantic dinner. We shared the spinach artichoke dip, along with two half portions of different pasta options and a side of mushroom risotto (this was our favorite)! Dessert was delicious and the portions were perfect. We will be back!”

“We loved the chilled out atmosphere of this vineyard. Beautiful area to enjoy a glass of wine, a flight or a tasting experience. The outside sitting area that overlooks the vineyard/highway was amazing. Open areas or covered seating are available. There is a nice gift shop outside or in the tasting room. There is a restaurant on the property but we did not try it.”

“Betty is definitely the best cook in town! We had tacos de Asada that came with grilled onions, cucumber slices and radishes. What I enjoyed the most was the Tostada de Ceviche with avocado slices and some salsa Valentina! Definitely a place to try! Hand sanitizer at each of the picnic tables. Very clean and delicious food! Perfect combination!”

“Interesting place as it once was Mona Lisa. Reservations at 5:30 pm turned into 6:45 pm but it is a soft opening for the restaurant. A new place so I expect some hiccups. My summary was slow service and just finished my salad so we shall see. The chicken Marsala looked delicious, but the mushrooms were undercooked, but the sauce was excellent and the chicken was tender. So I asked if the mushrooms could be cooked a little longer and I received a fresh plate with fewer mushrooms and the chicken was over cooked but the sauce yummy; I asked for more mushrooms and got them. Yummy! My husband had the veal and shrimp dish which he enjoyed. The calamari dish was flavorful, but chewy. And the salad was fresh. The overall experience was good, but they do have some fine-tuning to do. Ambience is OK, fresh, compared to what it was once before, as Mona Lisa. A few noises actually bothered me, the doors going to the kitchen made lots of noise as you were sitting at the bar and the front door because all of them rock back-and-forth and slam and I don’t think anybody recognizes that but it’s distracting.”

“My partner and I came to Eagle Bar and Grill for a wedding Menu Tasting after meeting Tom at a Wedding Festival in Asheville. From the very beginning Tom made us feel very welcome and at ease, he has personal approach and is very passionate about what he does. The staff was friendly and professional, all of them including Tom showed such a detailed high quality service and many times anticipated our wishes. We tried 2 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 deserts and 3 wedding cakes. We expected to have small portions, but Tom served full portions as a dish would have been served at a wedding that we appreciated a lot. The presentation of the food was exquisite, the taste profile was unique and excited our senses. My partner and I not only had a great meal, but conversations and it became an experience to remember. We decided to go with their catering on the spot, and so excited to have this food served to our friends and family at our wedding! I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a family dinner, a date night or a special occasion catering to go with them!”

“I want to share something. Today i went in to get gas and the clerk looked like he was stressed out his mind. When i went to pay he told me bad news. The pump i was at was broken and he wasn't told at the last minute. Tho i know my driver would be upset but i handled the situation better then what i see most people would do. So i offered him some help that on my way out. I put up a out of service sign for him. My respons to him was. He didn't need this kind of stress and that i didn't mind helping to prevent any future stress. He looked like the only guy there at work. So insted of giving any employees hell. Be nice. I did. And it was worth it. Before me and my driver left. There was a pump free. No line and we got it. Im glad my driver understand the situation and we both got lucky l. If anyone is good to others something good may open. This should be a team effort with gas issues. But all i see from most people is greed. Be kind to others. Im glad i made the clerks day cause he needed it. He dont deserve anyones BS. I was a team player to help offer to put up a sign. I dont work here but i did it with the kindness of my heart. Why cant wr all get along and help. Pick and choise your battles. Dont hurt those who dont derserve it. God bless you to the clerk. You are doing a great job.”

“Picturesque and quaint! My spouse and I had a great time during our night here. Our room, the Looking Glass Falls room, had the best view in a hotel I've ever had! Imagine waking up to a postcard perfect view of the Appalachians! The decor is very fresh and fits the area well with all the split agate art on the walls. The free breakfast is a great start to the day. Erin was a fantastic host and told us about the expansions being added in the next year. We'll definitely be back soon!”
