“After having a horrible experience around the corner with TJI Friday’s we decided to come here. We couldn’t even get them to seat us or even recognize we were there. The night started off on a bad foot. We walked in to Sagebrush and was welcomed as soon as we walked in and sat right away. Our food came out and it was perfect in every way. What made the night was our waitress Liz. She was amazing and made sure we had everything even though she had a lot of tables. It’s just nice to see the service industry isn’t completely gone. She restored our faith and I just hope this place takes care of her. People like Liz are hard to come by and I wish her the best. Thanks Liz for making our night!”

“A deceptively nice and warm small town family Italian eatery. It may not look big on the outside but it's very spacious and very very clean. The staff is hard working,friendly,and courteous serving delicious Italian dishes. I'd advise you bring a hearty appetite as the portions are generous. “Delicious food overall and very friendly staff. We eat at both this and the other Sanford location. Fajitas are fabulous. The main reasons we give it 4/5 is the poor quality of meat served in some dishes (a sad, thin fatty slice of steak) and the margarita quality. Sometimes they are great, sometimes they taste like sugary shelf bought mixers with no tequila. Overall good and we will continue to eat there, and just make the margaritas at home.”

“First time there, quick and fresh. I order the steak and shrimp hibachi and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Massive portion of rice and veggies. They went light on my steak which I'm not sure if that's a regular occurrence. Over all standard pricing I paid like 12 for it. I will draw back is you get 1 free white sauce and each one after is .50 which can add up if your a white sauce addict. I will go back!”

“This mom and pop owned establishment has delicious seafood at great deals. They also carry chicken and pork and burgers but I'm stuck on the fish. Customer service is their highest priority and the food is always fresh. Salads are cold and crisp and my fish always piping hot always tastes fresh caught. We actually went to a neighboring fast food chain an hour before they closed one night only to be told they had a very limited menu selection. Disgruntled and still hungry we stopped in to try these folks out. Our misfortune turned into a habitual dining out at this charming establishment. We're so glad we came by. If you leave unhappy or hungry from The Boat House, it's your fault. These folks go out their way to treat you right and fill you up. Worth the drive from any town, I give them 5 stars!!”

“UPDATE: I have found out by going in to check on the female employee that this awful employee has been fired. Thank you management. I will come back to this store now and I've changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because the food is good. I just had the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. A few hours ago, my fiance went in and got 3 subs for himself and our 2 kids. There was a mix-up with the people in front of him that he had to wait for but no big deal. He waits, pays, and goes home. They get home and find that my daughter has the wrong sub.....she has the person's in front of them he's guessing. He calls me at work to tell me because now our daughter has no dinner, he's leaving for his job out of town, and I'm on my way home. So I stop by the store on my way home to hopefully get this resolved. We live 10 min away from Subway going the other direction from my work, I might add. There are a few people in front of me. The guy (who I find out is named Vincent) backs up to the bread and says "What can I get you?" I say "I need to talk to you" I don't think I need to be saying this loudly for everyone to hear and he's not close to the counter to have a conversation. He doesn't move and repeats "What can I get you?" So I say again "I need to talk to you". He looks a bit irritated and comes closer. I explain the situation...that there was a mix-up in front of them, which also more than likely mixed his order up. I added that my daughter should have gotten a Spicy Italian but got a ham/cheese with some orange sauce. He understandably asks if I have receipt. I tell him I don't as I haven't been home yet since I live 10 min the other way and just got out of work. He told me he couldn't help me until I brought back a receipt. I told him I am describing the situation with every detail and maybe he can look it up in the register history. Again he tells me he can't help me without a receipt. It is almost 7:00 at this point and my 9 year-old hasn't had dinner. At this point the young lady taking a customer's payment tells me that she thinks it was her that made the error and they can help me. The guy tells the girl he won't make it and to call the manager. He absolutely refused to help me. I stood there while he continued to refuse to help me and continued to be rude and sarcastic to his co-worker. So she came out from the side door in the back, called me back there, and apologized for his behavior. She asked me what I needed and went back through the side door to make it. I now see and hear the guy (Vincent) carrying on with an attitude in front of about 5 other customers in line about the situation and being very disrespectful as he's waiting on them. It was so childish, unprofessional, and very passive aggressive. The girl makes my sub and comes back crying and says she has called the manager to let her know what's happening. I told her I was filing a complaint and tried to calm her down. This guy had the worst attitude I have ever seen at a customer service job. He treated me terribly, he treated his co-worker terribly, and then other customers had to listen to it too. When I was leaving, 2 people who were in line also left, before even ordering. I am absolutely appalled that this guy is allowed to even wait on the general public. I will absolutely never come back to this store and I pity that poor girl who has to work with him.”
