“Great bagels in Franklin finally! We got a dozen whole wheat which are very good and not at all bland like typical WW. Also, a couple of egg/bacon/cheese sandwiches, WW and Pumpernickel. Delicious! We walked up to the parks on Main St. and sat on a bench to eat. Perfect!”

“The best pizza in Macon County, and it's not even close. The dining room is a nice, dimly lit, relaxing atmosphere. If you're in the area and like good pizza, stop here. If you are a bit away, but want to take a drive for good pizza, stop here. There are quite a few pizza places around here, and a lot of them are even good, but Vito's is the king of the mountain. I like Pizza, and it's probably my favorite food. Vitos is the best around here. The only negative is that you need cash(or LOCAL check) so I do have to remember this before going. As a small business, I get it because processing fees are killer, but you need to know this before heading there. I ate here last night(typically get it to go) and honestly I can't wait to go back.”

“Great food, great service, very friendly and clean. All VERY FRESH ingredients (you can see from the counter) with a chef who clearly has been in front of the oven for awhile. The food is an interesting mix of 'traditional' Mexican home cooking and country cooking, in a cute country bistro setting. 9/10 would return.”

“Visiting from Sarasota, FL and had the craving for ice cream after traveling all day. I couldn’t miss “Lucky Terry’s” from the road! Colorful, welcoming store front and when I walked in I was immediately greeted and taken care of. Great prices and quantity. Thank you for the yummy ice cream! I’ll be back for more!”

“My first time at this restaurant and I felt welcomed from the minute I walked in. They let me sample the roasted chicken bites prior to ordering. The roasted chicken bites were flavorful, juicy and delicious. I also enjoyed the grilled chicken salad. There are less stars because I anticipated larger portions.”

“I posted a photo of mango and pineapple sorbets, but my favorite is the water/fruit popsicles. They’re the best I’ve ever had, with real fruit chunks inside. It’s suitable for vegetarians/vegans and obviously for dairy consumers. Show this place some love and your tastebuds will love you back!”

“This is a pretty new place, so you would expect there to be some issues. All around however, it was a great dinner. The food was wonderful, the wine was good, and the environment was inviting. It was a bit loud in there, which made it hard for dinner conversation, bit that is only because of the amount of people. There is nothing the manager or staff could have done about that. Just the face that there were that many people should say how good this place is. I am looking forward to coming back soon.”

“We went to this cafe on our first morning in town and Ellie (our server) was wonderful, as well as the food. The second day we went back, and were seated quick - but waited for quite a while before being able to order. Wayne kept checking on us to see if we had been talked to yet; and eventually sent Ellie back our way to take our order. Though the wait the second day was longer than expected - we were treated so well and made sure to make our experience just as good after a long wait. We love this cafe, the customer service is exceptional. Highly recommended!”

“This review comes after four visits : twice for lunch and twice for dinner . What a fantastic addition to Highlands ! The ambiance is casual elegance with an attention to detail . The pottery and bar ware is all chic , the service has been great and everyone is extremely accommodating and friendly . We have tried the pizzas twice and they have been terrific . The meatballs are superb and I love the grilled cheese and soup . The star of the menu is the anti-pasta plate : it’s incredible. The best part of the restaurant is that it’s has a vibe unlike any other Highlands place ; It’s young and energetic and fun to hang out in . The fact that the food is delicious is icing on the cake .......... oh don’t forget the desserts.”

“We rented a pontoon boat there a couple days while we were there on vacation. It was really easy to book online. The pontoon boats we had were in great shape. They ran perfevtly and were nice and clean. Our boys(6 and 9 years old) had a blast tubing. We explored most of the lake in 2 days. The service was excellent. The folks working at Lakes End Cafe Grill and Marina were so nice and helpful. What a lovely gem of a place.”

“Great eats! Sunset has my favorite breakfast in town. Their biscuits are the best and they have waffles too! Sunset also has delicious burgers! Their pies are AMAZING! Their chocolate pie is my favorite with its four inch thick meringue!!! When I want comfortable and consistent dining, I pick Sunset. They only take cash, but there is an ATM.”

“I was really looking forward to giving this restaurant a high rating, based on what I read. Most of the food we ate was very good, especially the vegetables and the waitress was exceptional. However, the pulled pork on the buffet tasted like it has been frozen and warmed up again. The texture was like cork and it had a bland taste. I tried to mask it with BBQ sauce, but an hour later had to eat a mint to get the taste out of my mouth. I had considered asking if I could discard it and try the beef or chicken, but when I tasted the beef it had a similar texture. But, it had more tastes. The atmosphere was hot and cramped. There are two isles to walk through the restaurant with the buffet in the middle. Two people can hardly pass in the isles and the backs of people's chairs are sticking out in the isle. The plates are very small. If you are even slightly claustrophobic, don't go there.”
