“Fantastic burgers and friendly atmosphere. Being a restaurant, there are often many new faces coming in and out, but the familiar faces are Reid’s greatest strength. Pete, the bartender, is hands-down one of the best around! We don’t even make it to the seating area before Pete spots us and puts in our order. He has a fantastic memory and truly cares about his guests. We loved the two bartenders who worked at Reid’s before Pete (Paisley and Christine) and when they left we thought no one could compare. Luckily, Pete is the best and that’s all there is to it! Plus, he always remembers to bring me a napkin to stash a little bacon for my pup. :) The “fine foods” selection is full of delicious local goodies that double as great gifts. Thank you, Reid’s!”

“I discovered this place by accident when I was wandering around uptown, just playing tourist when I noticed some people walking by me carrying a bag or a cup of coffee that said Einstein Bagels. I was thrilled. I asked where Einstein Bagels was. A woman pointed to the building and off I went. I bought six bagels and headed for the Transit Center and home. Happy me! Great bagels, great variety of cream cheese. Mmmm, that makes me hungry.”

“The bagels are good but they need to get a bagel slicer and not do it by hand. I ordered 2 dozen bagels that I asked to be sliced and because they were somewhat busy they said it would take 15 mins to get them sliced. I also ordered the last 2 multi grain and as the girl was putting them in the bag the kitchen staff needed them and took them out of my bag. I would recommend avoiding busy weekend mornings unless you have a lot of spare time.”

“I worked at a pastry shop when I was 16 and have spent the last 20 years looking for a pastry shop that could match or rival with my first love. THIS PLACE IS IT!!!! This place far exceeded my expectations, i have been to many pastry shops with beautiful cases that meant nothing when it came to taste. The almond tea cakes had a light crunch of freshness on the outside edges, delicately light and moist on the inside!!! The cream on the strawberry pastry was light and airy but not too sweet, which I abhor and feel is commonly a sign of unrefined baking in mass production. You can tell they put the love into these pastries! The coffee was killer to boot! Luckily, I was leaving at 6 in the morning for a trip and stopped here, what a treat to be open that early. I really cannot recommend enough! ❤️❤️❤️”

“The staff in this store is always really nice. The donuts always look really good but they have a lot of very sugary options. I'd like to see a few more cake donuts and maybe cinnamon twists and things that were a little less covered in sugar and sprinkles. They must make the donuts very early in the morning because if you stop by at about 10 a.m. the order to getting a little bit stale. The donut holes were absolutely stale there were not soft at all, and the blueberry ones on the inside or hard as a brick I couldn't even bite them. This is the second or third time we've stopped at this location and I've had the same experience. I don't think I'll be stopping by again. You can get equally good Donuts of about the same quality at a grocery store. And they cost a lot less than on average $12 a dozen.”
