“Stopped by the new Giovanni's Brooklyn Bagels shop in Swansboro on a Sunday morning. I was surprised to see that it was quite busy! The staff were quick about entering orders in and the wait time was pretty short considering the amount of customers! There were plenty of fresh delicious bagels to choose from, all of which are displayed so you know which bagels are available. The menu is very easy to read and is filled with tons of delicious options ranging from a handful of flavored cream cheeses, different types of breakfast sandwiches, a variety of drinks, etc. In addition to the bagels being perfect (crisp on the outside, soft on the inside), they also come with the PERFECT amount of cream cheese. The true NY way. The store itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable. There is seating inside and outside so there is plenty of space for customers to eat in if they choose to. Very excited for this to become a regular spot for me.”

“Super cute little bakery/coffee shop. Pumpkin cinnamon roll and chocolate croissants were great! I stopped for some pastries, and will have to return another time to try their drinks. The shop is really cute and the staff was friendly. I love that the rewards transfer between the bakery and the ice cream shop too. Will be back!”

“It's a great shop. I'm new to the area and was trying to quit cigarettes I walked into the Tobacco shop and was welcomed with open arms. A young Man by the name of Omar helped me with my purchase. Omar is a great guy he isn't trying to push just any item on you just pushes you in the right direction. It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't smoked a cigarette thank you Omar salute young king keep striving. When you go to this Tobacco shop ask for Omar he will point you in the right direction”

“I have a taco problem, so I’m a pretty discerning critic. And I love visiting Mexico so much that I countdown days until I can return the second I get on a plane back home. But Taco Addicts/El Cerro 2 is making the time between trips bearable. The shrimp, carnitas and barbacoa tacos are great, and their corn tortillas are fresh. (And Felix is so great. He’s remembered us after our first visit, which makes an even better experience.) Go check them out!”

“This place is totally awesome. First time here we docked for bad weather. Found it to be a strong current to dock in. There are no deck hands. (check your tides). Wonderful small town with a full days worth of window shopping and delicious places everywhere. (seasonal) Dining is hard to choose from. They all serve goodies.. And I have to mention Jamie. Mothers day come on the way back. She is a great asset. We received presents for mother from all over with her help.”

“We ate breakfast and it was pretty good. The atmosphere was pretty fun, lots of Elvis stuff. The staff were very friendly in the service was very fast. A couple of small changes would make this a better experience. The pancakes were good but could have been much better with real butter! Biscuits served with the eggs didn't taste home made, could have been better. The coffee was typical coffee shop grade. The bacon was great. Overall, I would recommend.”

“Ordered the $11 Lemon Chicken from the specialty menu. The sauce was perfect and the chicken was juicy and tender. However adding a drink, egg roll, and changing the white rice to fried rice (upcharge), my total was$18! I believe all this world be worth the $11 if egg roll and fried rice option were included. This is still not the lemon chicken I've been searching for. I have been looking for lemon chicken prepared like General Tso (General Tang), battered, fried, and cooked in the lemon glaze. Still, overall, this lemon chicken was good.”
