“We went in with a party of 7 at 7 pm and got seated in 10 min. Not bad for a rainy Saturday. Waitress came and took our drink order 3 or 4 min later. Dark curly haired young woman who seemed nice enough. She brought drinks 10 min later including a beer sample which my wife then ordered, and took our order which included an appetizer . 15 min in, going well. The next time we saw her was when she brought the beer 15 or 20 min later with an apology but no soup appetizer. The other wait staff was clearly much more attentive and present. Several of our drinks were empty, and we saw our food sitting and waiting after about another 15 min. We were now clock watching and it became a table joke whether we'd see her in less than another 20 min, but 15 minutes later I asked a different server if she could send out our waitress. 2 min later she came out with our food, including the soup appetizer. We actually told the kids they couldn't order more fries because we didn't think the waitress would bring them. So we clearly got the inattentive waitress last night, but the food was pretty good. First time in a decade I have tipped under 20%, so next time we'll ask for the tall blonde waitress who we saw 4 or 5 times as much as we saw ours, and who sent our waitress out with our food. Two return visits since my 3 star review, and the service has improved and the food is still good. Have to up them to 4 stars for continued improvement.”
