“Stopped by to get a drink and food. The food was good and the drinks were solid. Corey, the bartender was excellent throughout. He picked up my name almost immediately, he knew what I meant when I said I'd like a "G&T" (I'm still flabbergasted when bartenders don't know this one). If that wasn't enough, he made my sandwich as well. Very nice place with great staff.”

“Our first visit was shortly after they opened. Understandably, the staff was a bit overwhelmed as the place was packed. Even under stress, the staff was very kind and helpful. All of the dishes we ordered were not merely adequate, they were excellent. We returned a few days ago. This is such a friendly restaurant! Wonderful staff. We have had the green curry, the massaman curry, drunken noodles, and several other vegetarian dishes. Delicious!”

“Finally took a trip to Chapel Hill to try these hot dogs. It's takes a lot of effort to make vegan/vegetarian hot dogs at home because you have to get all the ingredients for the toppings and 8 buns when you're only going to eat a couple hot dogs. You waste money and food. So Mike's was well worth the trip and the money! I love the combinations of the specialty dogs. But the shocker was the cupcakes. I had the coconut creme and it was phenomenal!”

“1st time at Coronato. We weren’t disappointed. Staff was attentive and helpful (on the ball) and pizzas were delicious. We hope to go back to try other items on the menu, but we really wanted to check out the thin crust pizzas. I really liked the decor. Clean modern look.”

“Best Mexican restaurant in Hillsborough NC! They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I’m partial to their breakfast menu but everything they make is on point. I love getting a cup of coffee and their breakfast burrito! They also have a food truck on the edge of downtown by the CBS car lot and the bank on Churton st.”

“The workers here are so incredibly kind. They are so sweet to all the students who come day in and day out. Patrick gave my friend free queso on the house after she had a really hard exam and it was so kind that we all started crying because it meant so much at the time. Definitely recommend coming to this Moe’s because the customer service is unbeatable!!”

“Longtime staple on Franklin Street. They have recently updated their branding. Dogs are still cheap and delicious, with lots of options for toppings--build your own or choose one of their signature options. Good drunk food for Franklin St. Never been there in the light of day to know how it holds up.”

“I have gone to this place since it opened. After a while, and despite my appearance changing pretty regularly, I started being recognized. I moved a few hours away from Chapel Hill and couldn't make it to Kurama for a couple years but, when I went in a little over a month ago, I was greeted warmly and handed a fresh plate of one of my favorite rolls without having to order it. One of my favorite places to go.”

“My girlfriend and I think this is the perfect date night. Amazing atmosphere, great lighting, and best of all, phenomenal customer service. The manager is always making sure every one is treated with kindness and respect. It is evident he cares about the customers and making sure they have a relaxing and easy going time. The rest of the staff is just as respectful. I see many trips in our future. The food is absolutely amazing. If you want flavorful food, this is definitely the place to come. I try something new every time and am never disappointed. Food has always been fresh and clean. If you want some good food, please give this place a try! :)”

“Bring on the dogs! They have some great dogs. The place is full, but we came at the perfect time and got a table right away. I went with the cheese taters tots and double chili dog. Was proud to say that I was in the clean plate club. Oh and maybe it's not right, but the waitstaff is polite efficient and pleasing to the eye.”

“Had a great time here, got the steak and eggs and waffles and all came out to less than $10. Came with a group of 4 and none of us paid over $11 for a large lunch meal. Rachel is the best, she deserves a raise. Next time I am in the area I will definitely visit. Food itself was delicious, the toast was better than what my momma makes. Rachel made my friend an iced coffee from scratch, no machine necessary. Y'all should definitely visit. I wish I could rate higher.”

“This hit the spot. Delicious and very authentic Indian food. Their cafeteria style counter offers so many delicious choices. Don't let the bare walls fool you. Five stars!!!”

“TRU has a number of attributes that make it a regular part of my restaurant/cafe/bar rotation. They have great sandwiches and salads for lunch, a chill vibe for a glass of wine while getting some work done, and a fantastic patio for a beer while out on a walk with my dog (TRU is pet friendly). The crowd here is eclectic and the staff is always great. In fact, my favorite bartender from a nearby establishment that I used to frequent in a former life (rhymes with “Minda’s”) joined the bar staff not too long ago and my wife and I couldn’t be happier with his addition. The only cautions I will give to those who’ve not been here before are as follows: (1) The ordering system takes a little getting used to. There are no preset items to order by a name or number like at a fast-food place. Every item is ordered a la carte, so don’t forget to add toppings to your sandwich or salad. (2) At very busy times, it can be a little understaffed. Be patient and remember that the kitchen for this place also produces food for folks on campus, so the wait can be kinda long. Consequently, I would not recommend this place for a “quick bite” if time is critical.”

“They have by far the best bubble tea on Franklin Street. I go to Asian cafe once or twice a week and sometimes it's just for the bubble tea. The staff are also great.”

“**Edit** They brought back the old ways at hibachi—the food is much fresher, tastier, and the same quantity as before. Glad they undid the changes and made hibachi great again. ** Extremely disappointed in the recent “renovations.” Used to eat here at least once a week, but not sure I will be returning. Previously everything was cooked fresh and cooked well, with generous portion sizes too. Now you just select from mushy vegetables and mediocre meat sitting behind the counter. AND they serve you less of it for the same price. Make hibachi and co. great again.”

“The woman who brings the food and drink refills and clears the tables of dirty dishes is one of the hardest working people I have seen. She handles the entire restaurant by herself and she still never let's our ice tea glasses reach empty. If you go and see the same thing, tip her well!”

“Perhaps the best burger for best price anywhere on Earth. The All the way burger floors me every time. Only pitfall is that its so big you have to most unhinge your jaw. Figure in they are smart enough to go with crinkle cut style fries and this is a cant miss.”

“Nice spot for Asian fare made on a flat top grill. Fill out your order with a dry erase marker on one of their re-usable menu tickets, adding as little or as much as you want meat/veggie wise. Decent portion sizes, reasonable prices, good food. Nice spot on Franklin St. Would highly recommend!”

“Food is always delicious when I come in and the staff here are some of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met. They are also very accommodating of me because I am kinda picky. It kind of makes me look forward to forgetting to pack my lunch before I come to campus...”

“Wayy too expensive for the amount of food received. Eggs were delicious and fresh, not from the carton like most other places. The waffles are a really nice texture, super fluffy. Syrup and "butter" were super cheap, very low quality. I really didn't like them, they took away from the flavor of the waffle. Expect to bump elbows with strangers in the tiny dining room.”

“Good casual place with a large menu featuring something for just about everyone. We went in expecting a typical bar and was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. The food was good. Service was spot on and pleasant. The setting is very much a bar atmosphere but large enough to not impact diners. If you are a family with kids come early and get a table upstairs for the least bar experience. Pricing is fair with various specials throughout the week.”

“This place is my favorite to go on Franklin Street. In most wing places, whenever I order boneless, the meat is tough. But this place serves the most tender boneless wings I've had. I also love the spicy and soy-garlic sauce they provide. And the crust on the wings are divine. Bonchon is a must if you looking for some fried chicken with Korean flare.”
