“Great rotisserie chicken! Formerly Monterrey’s now Don Chicken, in the back of Village Plaza off Elliot Rd. This fast food eatery is really good. Quick to get your food, inexpensive and very tasty. I ordered the 1/4 chicken, dark meat with 2 sides $8, drink extra. You order and pay at the counter, get your drink and utensils, condiments, etc. Find your seat, booth, then when ready they bring your food. There is also a patio for outdoor seating. My only suggestion, put some napkin holders on the tables. I am a messy eater. They also do a lot of to go orders so that’s something I’d like to try later. All in all an enjoyable experience. I will be back.”

“Somehow I missed that the Chapel Hill location is drive-through only. That said, the food was OK: good biscuit, spicy sausage, ordinary scrambled eggs, greasy fast-food hash-brown patty. Everything (!) was salted. If you want something else on your biscuit or eggs, bring your own. No honey, butter, jam, pepper,... were provided.”

“I am super impressed by this little restaurant attached to Sheraton Hotel. We flew in from out of town and were not used to driving in the snow so we didn't want to go far away to get dinner. Fortunately, this little gem was one of the very few places to remain open despite the weather here in Chapel Hill. My husband and I got seated right away, wait staff were really friendly, and food was surprisingly good! We had the fried mushrooms which was phenomenal. Serving size is good for 2-3 people as an appetizer. I ordered the chicken club which was a little salty for my tastes, but not too bad. My husband had the veal which was cooked to perfection. We had their pillow (croissant stuffed with berries, topped with whipped cream and berry drizzle) was large enough for 2-3 people and it was so delicious, my husband devoured it all by himself. They also have a bar that is open until 11pm. We came back the next day for their breakfast buffet at around $13 per person and it did not disappoint. They have a lot of items from cereals, bacon, pancake, sausages, grits, oatmeal, waffle and eggs. The food was hot and tasted like they are freshly made. Overall, I would say go ahead and try this place out specially if you are staying at Sheraton.”

“I am thrilled that Chapel Hill has a Chopt because I hadn't heard of it until it came to town. One of the main things I noticed is that they use cardboard straws and have healthy drink options and fountain drinks. I didn't get a salad but a wrap instead. Some of the menu is a little different than a normal salad I would typically get. I got the Baja Shrimp Wrap and even though it was tasty it was definitely spicy! The place has a cool aesthetic inside and def. Pretty clean. I would recommend this to peoole wanting to try something different and healthy.”

“The Loop is my go-to place for the best hamburger around. Delicious grilled flavor and never any "unchewable bits." Fries are good too. Whole wheat bun option, and several gluten-free options on the menu. Takes a while to be served tho, and don't go there near closing because they start stacking the chairs early and aggressively. This is very noisy and disconcerting... it feels like they really want you to leave.”

“This is hands down one of my all time favorite restaurants! I used to live in CH and go here all the time, and even though i moved away, this is where I go for dinner anytime I fly back into NC. It's a really sweet space with that country kitchen feel, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is phenomenal. I would recommend the fried green tomatoes, ribs, smothered pork chops, and everything on the dessert menu. Its also super family friendly, so its a great choice for family gatherings.”

“Decent all you can eat sushi & Japanese style restaurant. They do have a non all you can eat menu but the prices are pretty high. This place is not a buffet style to get tour food. You fill out a paper selecting what you want and they make your food all to order. My only big gripe is that the sushi rolls on the all you can eat menu are not that exciting . They tend to be much heavier and have lots of flake or filler very little of the fish you might want. They also do charge you for what you dont eat so make sure to only order what you can finish.”

Even though I went in between lunch and dinner time, this location seems to ALWAYS have the softest buns on my filet-o-fish sandwich. Some locations closer to home will have hard ends like it's been sitting in the warmer too long if I don't order during busy meal times. The only reason I would say they lost a star as their subs were so good was due to their small store front and their ability to turn over the tables quickly enough as people left. People just sat a a dirty table because no one came to clean them.
