“These folks have some fabulous beers from time to time that are wonderfully and surprisingly good. They also have "guest" taps. I had my first true sour here - the Ezekiel from D9, on a guest tap. Trollingwood's own Roggenbier, Pumpkin Antispice, and their Cinnamon Porter have been really quite good for me. I am hoping this brewpub will survive. The college crowd seems to pass this one by in favor of Pitt St. brewing right around the corner.”

“This place has the best, and dare I say maybe only actual authentic Mexican food in Pitt County as far as I know, Now, there is a big chance that I could be wrong, and there are other places to buy authentic Mexican food, but I do know the food here is excellent. The 3 ???? rating is because of the run down location & more importantly, the lack of the business owner having Fluent English speaking employees. Don't get me wrong, I am in no way being judgemental, I just think the lack of clear communication makes it awkward & stressful, and since it's concerning food, can potentially cause dangerous life threatening allergies, and angry customers because of not receiving what they actually wanted, or did not want, for the employees and the English speaking customers, it could really cause major problems, because we all know clear communication is vital for almost everything.”

“The Parker's BBQ restaurant on Memorial Drive "catered"a business lunch we had today. We placed about a dozen individual orders on Friday afternoon for a Monday all day training meeting / working lunch. The order was confirmed by one of the owners very soon after placing the order. Everyone got to order what they wanted and based on the number of cleaned off plates, it was evident the lunch was enjoyed by all. We've done this several times over the years, and the service is always spot on. The order is always correct when we pick it up, and the staff is always helpful in bringing it to the car. It's packed up nicely for easy transport. Prices are very fair and reasonable for the amount of food you get and it's just super easy. You can't ever go wrong with using Parker's for your events. We will will continue to use them.”
