“Upscale cafe, nice ambiance and decor, well lit with large floor to ceiling windows. Trendy tables and acrylic chairs snd flowers on tables. So many choices of desserts, notable of course for its Mediterranean ones like baklava. They also have cakes and macarons. Sort of East meets West (Europe). They have unique coffee concoctions. Even their depot to leave your used table or silverware are stored in pullout drawers! My friend treated me to a box of mini baklava and tarts.”

Great Harvest Bread Co - Cary

Address: 1240 NW Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27513, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“Ate here for the first time . I was late to meet my group, but already impressed that they had brought out ice water for everybody. The sandwich I ordered which had barbecue chicken, melted cheese which I had on honey whole wheat bread which was toasted perfectly. I took a loaf home, for myself and my husband as I was pleased that it was dairy free. (He is allergic to milk.)They actually have a nice variety of dairy free breads which is often not the case in the bakery's I've visited in this area. The place was spotless although we did remind them that the small trash can in front needed emptying. Overall it was a great place for a nice lunch out with the girls.”

La Farm Bakery

Address: 4248 NW Cary Pkwy, Cary, NC 27513, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“The baked goods here are amazing! The chocolate crinkle cookie is one of my all time favorites when it comes to cookies. The food is also good. The spinach feta quiche is one of my favorites. The vinegarette that they make is also amazing, it's one of the few salad dressings I actually like. The coffee is... Fine, I guess. It's not bad, but it's also not great. The biggest issue is that the flavor syrups are absolutely awful. Its aggressively average. The staff are nice and very helpful. Service isn't too slow, but it's definitely not fast. Getting baked goods is usually fairly quick, but food can take 10-15 minutes for a single dish some days. Seating can be a nightmare here some days. Coming during typical lunch hours usually means every table is full. I'm usually able to find seating since I'm alone, but trying to find a table for 3 or more is definitely going to be difficult on weekends or at lunch. The biggest issue is cost. La Farm is EXPENSIVE. A quiche slice and a latte is nearly $20 after tax. Add a couple pastries and you can easily be looking at $25-30 for a single meal plus a dessert pastry. The brunch menu can be a slightly better deal since it comes with a scone and breakfast potatoes, but it's still pricey. I'd recommend La Farm if you're looking for a slightly nicer lunch/brunch location.”

Brecotea

Address: 1144 Kildaire Farm Rd, Cary, NC 27511, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“I came down from NYC to visit my son and granddaughter for the holidays and they showed me this place. One word sums it up: WOW (caps lock intended)!!! The decor is super modern yet cozy. The staff was very helpful and friendly as they answered my myriad of questions, especially Jesse who was absolutely charming and helped me arrange a birthday cake for my granddaughter. And least we forget the food! Amazingly priced for the level of artistry. $35 for six pastries, a loaf of brioche, and two slices of crepe cake.... that would cost closer to $100 in NY. I most definitely recommend this place and hope it becomes in the Triangle.”

Grand Asia Market

Address: 1253 Buck Jones Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“A very nice place to shop for asian food varieties you typically won't find in your average grocery store. The produce looked very fresh while I was there. And the meat is extremely fresh l, especially the fish. The bakery at the front seemed especially popular though we didn't try it. We loved browsing the store, the spices and oils and chilies were of large variety and there was a decent selection of noodles and dumplings, buns and potstickers as well. Love that this place was organized and easy to navigate. Note that there is a little bit of a smell with places like this. Whenever there is fresh/nonpackaged meat and fish indoors there will be a bit of lingering aroma. It's not awful though and to be expected.”

Lowes Foods on Tryon Road

Address: 6430 Tryon Rd, Cary, NC 27513, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“I drive past 3 other grocers to go to this one. Store has a logical layout.prices are reasonable. Store brand products are good. Sale prices are good. Ive never been to a store with a beer bar, or had time for a beer while flying through to collect groceries, but its an interesting idea... store might get better flow through if bar had its own entrance (but there's probably a state code against that). I like the store”

Chanticleer Cafe & Bakery

“I've been going to Chanticleer for a while about a year and haven't had a bad experience yet! Every time I go in the staff is really nice and the food is delicious. I always get the Ashe-county cheddar croissant with egg and sausage. The atmosphere is really nice when I go in either jazz or blues is playing and I love it. Today was especially beautiful so most people sat outside. Definitely recommend!”
