“I have been around all over the United States and this place is probably the most authentic Mexican food I’ve even had. Furthermore the staff behind the bar is exceptional. Nestor, Nancy and the manager Jesse were extremely nice and very professional. We live in Miami and they made our experience so pleasant. We will be moving here in May and will put this place at the the top of our list for recommendations for friends and family to try! Can’t wait to come back to see you guys! “Came here with my family, it was my first time. The service was wonderful! The food was even more wonderful. One of the phrases I used to describe the tater tots, specifically, was that "they must've used potatoes from the Lord's garden." They are so great; the burgers are even better, if that tells you anything. I will absolutely be going there again soon!”

“Attention all party people! In the mood for something fun and different? Tin Roof is a hot spot on Glenwood with a unique twist for the night owl in you. On the lower level, you will find the bar. Grab a drink or two and enjoy live music as the band plays the night away. Upstairs, you will find another bar with a DJ and dance floor. There is also an outdoor seating area for you to get your chill on. Yeah, Tin Roof! They have a small cover, but it's worth it. If you're heading out, check them out.”

“Awesome concept, service, and food. I'm working in Raleigh for a few months and have been trying local places, and Plates is the best so far. The atmosphere is very local and relaxed with a dash of upscale. Food was incredible. Deviled eggs were worth every penny (bacon jam was yummy). Everything on my plate was cooked flawlessly, and I don't say this lightly. The service was top notch. I wish I could remember our waitress's name because she deserves recognition. Very knowledgeable about everything on the menu, my drink was never empty, and overall just pleasant experience. The only complaint I had were the flies on the patio. Not anything you can do about it, but I would recommend eating inside during the day. Prices were fair, and location is nice. I highly recommend trying this place if you are in Raleigh.”

“Careful, you may walk right past the small door on Glenwood and that would be a mistake. Rockford is a small upstairs bar/restaurant that has great food and great service. The menu is diverse and includes salads, sandwiches, burgers, full entrees and specials. The crab cakes were some of the best we have had; the bread pudding- and I'm not a big bread pudding guy- was unbelievable! Pricing is extremely fair, service great and the bar was great! Don't miss this hidden gem.”

“WILL RETURN!! I heard this place has been under new ownership and it definitely shows. Very friendly and proficient staff. There was a fairly long line when I got there and I didn't have to wait long at all. I love that all the ingredients used for their menu are local, they even have a sign showing where everything comes from. I got the BLT sandwich and it was delicious. The fresh-squeezed lemonade was tasty and refreshing. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a fun and/or relaxing day at the park.”
