“Slow service even when I'm the only person in line mid-afternoon. The turkey wrap has a great flavor and the ingredients seem to be of good quality. But for almost $6 the wrap is made entirely too small. I’ve now purchased food from here three times, each time it was made by a different employee and yet every time the wrap is still small. Also, the menu at this campus location is a bit different than the menus for other Jason’s Deli locations. If you look at an online menu it says their sandwiches and wraps come with a side, but here at the NCSU Talley Student Union Jason’s Deli you have to pay extra for a side.”

“This dining hall is only open to the general public (i.e. those who aren't varsity athletes at NC State) for breakfast and lunch. The lunch here is quite good, above and beyond what the other two dining halls on campus usually serve. I can't speak for the breakfast because I've never tried it. The outdoor seating is a nice bonus as well. The indoor seating area is clean and comfortable, but it's also somewhat cramped compared to Fountain and Clark (NC State's other dining halls). One major pet peeve of mine: the lunch period on Fridays ends at 2:00p.m. instead of 4:00p.m.”

“I've been going here for years and have always had an excellent experience. The seafood cannot be beat for the prices and quality. It is so fresh and affordable! I recommend the cold boiled shrimp platter as a classic go-to. Their coleslaw and hush-puppies are the best sides. The checkout is efficient: you order with one of the guys and pay at the counter, then they call your number. Highly recommend!”

“I had a meal here and I was so delighted! The food was amazing. The lentils are wonderful, especially the red lentils, and so is everything else I tried. I would strongly recommend you come here! Yes, service was definitely slower than I'm used to in a restaurant, but I was expecting that because Ethiopian cuisine isn't particularly fast. It took an appropriate amount of time for our food to come, and boy, it was worth the wait. Delicious and flavorful, without being overwhelming. Other reviewers said something about waiting a long time before being seated or even greeted, but that wasn't the case either for my party or the other guests I saw come in. We were all greeted and seated promptly. The more important factor to me was that the server was friendly, helpful, and awesome. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a meal out that I didn't feel rushed at. It was a great place to go and chat with friends, catch up, and have a great, delicious, and filling meal together. I will definitely be visiting again!”
