“Absolutely 💯 delicious!!! Thank you I am still in the parking lot - couldn't wait to get home. I have just eaten the pounded yam & egusi soup. I am so full lol. Egusi soup is very flavorful, with chunks of stockfish with chicken (done the way I like it - fried well and seasoned just right). Fresh cooked food - hot and spiced well. Worth the wait time! My 1st visit - would be back, highly recommend. 😋 Tomorrow, i will try the other items I ordered - moi moi and fried rice with plantains tomorrow I am sure they will be just as yummy delicious!!! I visited Boba-N-Chai on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by the friendly staff and the cozy ambiance. They explained the menu and the options to me and helped me choose what to get. I ordered a taro milk tea with tapioca pearls and an onion samosa. The milk tea was creamy and flavorful, and the pearls were chewy and sweet. The samosa was hot and crispy, with spices, and vegetables. It was a satisfying and filling snack. I also sampled the green tea latte, which was smooth and refreshing. The rolled ice cream looked tempting, but I was too full to try it. Maybe next time. I paid a very very reasonable price for my order, which I thought was fair for the quality and quantity. I would highly recommend Boba-N-Chai to anyone who loves bubble tea, ice cream, or Indian food. It is a great place to hang out with friends, family, or yourself. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu items.”

“My dad found this restaurant through Google and my parents tried the restraunt out and loved it, so of couse my husband and I and our friends had to try this restaurant ourselves. We got hot tea, family size mixed kebabs, fresh salad & hand cut fried potatoes. WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE. The cute tea pot and tea was great, service was OUTSTANDING, everything is fresh to order, food was SOOOOO good like grandma cooking & music & decor made it all even better. “We found Bonchon in Chapel hill last year and have been a few times. Their food is so good and it’s always a treat when we go there. We were planning to go there last night, but we saw that this location was open! We had the nicest server Tommy. We ordered fried dumplings (amazing) and a family meal. The family meal was only $40ish and we had so much fried chicken to take home. It’s the best value they offer. The fried rice is some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had and their chicken is also equally amazing. I’m so glad this location opened and we were able to visit during their soft opening.”

“Pizza was great, but took nearly 2h to get it. I ordered at 530pm on a Friday night; the very sweet girl at the register said about an hour. That was fine. After an hour, I came back again - 10 more minutes. Which turned into 40. Pizza was really good, but I can't wait around for 2h to pick it up. There were many customers waiting also, equally frustrated. I recommend not taking any more orders until you catch up.”

“The “newness” has worn off and it appears as though only one or two staff members actually care anymore. Part of the issue is the online system giving incorrect wait times so you end up waiting for over 30 in the store with no updates on your order. The other issue is the staff not calling names of orders they finish. So the whole crowd runs up to check the name on the bag. When you’re this busy, keeping your head down and avoid customers only makes it worse. Just be greet folks and be honest that there is a delay.”
