“A favorite stop in the High Country! The food is exceptional and their service is to match. We have made many visits and have yet to have a dish that was “meh”. Lovely atmosphere and kid friendly. They even have little boxes of toys for the children to choose to borrow during dinner instead of the obligatory crayon and kids menu. Portions are generous. “Great place for a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. Looked really busy when I pulled in. Drive through was hopping. Parked and came inside, placed order immediately and within a couple minutes had my hot biscuit and coffee. Lots of college heads in here. And the particular girl that made my sandwich was really finicky with the toppings. She was a small petite girl. And I'm a heavyset fella. Lol. But even after I told her to put as much as you possibly could get by with, she still just barely put enough toppings on it to say she put toppings on it. These are the only reasons I did not give it 5 stars”

“I've driven right past the Blue Ridge Diner many times and never found the time to go in and today that was proven to be a mistake. I set out to eat lunch there for the first time and I'm happy I did. I had the special, country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and black-eyed peas. The portion was huge, almost too much, the steak was crispy and tasted great. The peas were seasoned right and even the coffee was strong and good tasting. All in all, this will be repeated as often as it can be.”
