Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

Robot brings you your drinks.There were plenty of selections but there were a few plates that were popular and took awhile to get. We could have just ordered them to our table but we were enjoying the experience. Tuna was delicious and a great color! The shrimp was divine, both sweet and popcorn rolls. The eel melt in your mouth, no chewing needed! Salmon roe was great and to my surprise the roll with a egg yolk ended up being a favorite. Seared scallop roll was delicious!! All very fresh.

Personally I loved the Japanese donut ice cream!
I would go to a different sushi place. The experience is something to go for but that’s about it! The wait was not too long since we went on a week day. You pay by the the plate and it was $3.50 per plate. Every 15 plates is a prize and they are about to start dragon ball Z. The atmosphere is wonderful and it’s definitely a very neat experience but I rather get more fresh sushi elsewhere!!

Sad that I had to leave this kind of review for Kura. Because I love Kura. I’ve been to many Kura places. But this was just disappointing. Everyone in line seem to be lost and irritated. Waiting almost 2 hours to get seated. Even tho we reserve a seat. Someone had to tell me to go in and tell them your here even tho you made an appointment. So it don’t matter when you sign in at all it all determine when you book and go to the person in the register. So keep that in mind. They should put some seats outside for people that are waiting. Some people had to seat on the pavement to wait. They were so disorganized. And if don’t hear your name because you have to be inside to hear your name you loose out. It would be nice if one of the staff went outside and called out. Sad very sad. But I still love their food. But we made sure to eat fast so others don’t have to wait too long.

This place was so cute! The sushi was good along with the other items on the menu as well. It’s definitely a very affordable sushi place and a great place to try new things at a little amount. Was a little nervous due to outside of the building looking a little run down, but the inside is very cute. Our server was very accommodating and great at explaining how everything worked. The cleanliness of the place needs work, but I would definitely go back!

We had a great time. There were six of us so one downside was that we had to sit at different tables. The food was delicious. I took pictures of my recommendations. My kids all found something they loved, and were so happily engaged with the belt system. They were all clean platers. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars in service was that it took about 10 minutes to get the check. But they were busy so i do understand. We will definitely return!
